  1. I’m guessing the smells-bad rumor is from a disgruntled client or a jealous competitor

That’s my guess too. I’ve seen Rainer and had no complaints. He smelled (and tasted) great! I hired him based off of the glowing reviews he’s received here, and though he’s really not my type, I can see why he’s so popular.

When I was a working boy I had tons of other escorts who would try and post fake reviews. I was even physically attacked once. It’s a cut-throat industry. However, because of sites like this (hooboy in my case), and members like us, none of the shady reviews ever stuck.

  2. I didn’t find him feminine. For whatever that’s worth. Definitely had a little gut now but I don’t mind. Nice package. Not enormous, not small. A healthy size. And I didn’t have any complaints with him positioning himself in a way to avoid me touching him. B+ massage. The only reason I haven’t repeated was because he seemed a little awkward. That is normal when you meet someone for the first time but usually fades by the end. Especially after some of the stuff that happened. But nope. After we both finished, back to awkward. Maybe he’s not used to finishing with a client? Either way, nice guy, deserves a try if you’re contemplating.

  3. I’ve seen him a few times. He’s never rushed me and when I’ve had to shower there (cuz I’ve come straight from work) he’s never deducted that time from my massage. He’s short and hairy and a little chubby but I don’t mind any of that. His massage is a B. Would be a B+ if there was more pressure. And for the rest, ymmv.

  4. I’ve seen Danny MANY times. And trust me, I’m willing to settle for less than stellar if it means that I won’t leave with blue balls. But Danny is the exception. Purely therapeutic. And yeah, he’s a little new-agey. (Ends the massage with his Tibetan sound bowls) but he’s legit. He knows the body and knows how to make it feel amazing without that extra part we all want. If you’re planning on seeing him, know that nothing beyond the massage will happen. Also, he’s now working at Original Breath Acupuncture. He finished his studies and is licensed in that area. I probably won’t see him again if he’s not working out of his place.

  5. Neither Parker or Mark are really on any of my hiring lists.

Same. Though I did follow the recs for mark once. Nice enough guy, definitely an A rated massage, but I wasn’t into the rest.

  6. I’ll add this to the mix in regards to tipping at spas. If you’re paying with a card, if you can, bring the tip in cash. They have to wait at least two weeks to get that money if the tip is left on your card. And as I’m sure you can imagine, getting the money immediately is probably really helpful to the masseur.

  7. I saw him last minute Friday night and he was great. Massage was a B/B+. He was rock hard in all aspects. Super sweet guy. Lives on the 6th floor and you have to climb stairs so if that’s an issue for some people, thought I’d pass that along. The elevator was down and each floor had it covered so probably not gonna be up and running for a while. I don’t repeat in NY because I only get here once a year and like to try out new guys, but in a pinch, I’d probably reach back out.

  8. From the pics I'm seeing today of him he looks like he's much older than he may be coming across as. I'm sorta dreading turning 49 next year, because so damn many age shavers ruin it for us who are actually the last age of our decades.

It’s funny cuz age isn’t a big deal for me. Though, tbh, I rarely hire anyone who says they’re under 30. I like mature guys. But when I do venture younger, like 30-34, and I’m on the table and we’ve established I’m pretty easy going, I ask how old they are. Not to catch them in a lie, but mostly just small talk, they always say their true age and it’s always 6-8 years older than their profile. On one side I get it, guys assume you’re older so if you say 40 they think you’re 55. But I just wish people would own their age. There’s a market for everyone.

  9. Has anyone been to Descanso Garden Spa in Tujunga?

I've done the Korean spas in Ktown, but my favorite ones have closed.

Looking for a spot where it's not a sleazy bathhouse, but the potential for some surreptitious showing off or action exists.

I’d say that’s the case with this place. I’ve been once, but during the late afternoon and it was dead. When I was leaving, around 6, traffic was picking up. I liked the layout. And it was clean.

  10. I did. The link to his page is active, but he doesn’t show up in a general New York list and his contact info isn’t available anymore. Maybe he’s out of town for a while?

His ad is still there. He may just be on vacation or hiatus for a bit. It happens.

  11. He’s very into himself...

Definitely not my experience. Seen him at least four times and each time he’s very sweet and almost a little shy/nervous. But in a good way. Not saying your experience isn’t genuine. Just saying I see a different side than what your experience has been.
