  1. ditto on the same experience with Danny. although while I asked for strong, he wasn’t able to fully deliver. then again, I like strong to be shredding my muscles apart, which few have the strength to do. I did pass by all seasons spa on the ground floor of 8th street on my way to renew body wellness. saw through the front glass display all kind of hot beefy men giving foot massages. literally the entire staff appeared to be men, at least from the front display. any folks have any experiences here?
  2. mike from renew cozy. solid strong massage, if that’s who the OP had as well
  3. totally agree. which places have you been hitting up? it’s such a tease but I think these guys know it’ll help with tips but they’re just not into it (ie straight). and it’s less work on them on providing a more strenuous massage
  4. bare bones, especially for the trek! I may as well go to the steam/sauna at my local gym… and get a workout during the visit too!
  5. tempting. do we have clarity if the entire place is men’s only on sunday or both saturday & sunday? how was the scrub/massage likely by an older korean man? sucks there’s no hot tubs and funny regarding the extreme ends of “leans young” to “leans mature”
  6. ditto on the points regarding Mike. A+ on a strong thorough deep tissue experience. And def not his first rodeo to see something pop up. Hah.
  7. This sounds like Sam?… was a bit too chatty, nice guy though. Anyone come across anyone remotely as good as Peter these days? He was super strong and experienced, which I appreciated above everything else.
  8. Can someone confirm if this is the same Andoni (from his personal ad) who now works at 27 Spa and HK Men Spa? Such a difference of opinions between folks here who were nay on his sessions to the raving reviews at 27 Spa. Just wondering if we're talking about the same person here?
  9. Have you or any others since been back to Spa Next? Any updates? Seems like Mark is no longer there
  10. Hi all - equinox NYC member here. Very tempted to try a deep tissue massage at their spa since the facilities look amazing in most locations. However, given the high prices charged, I’m less willing to take the plunge to try a randomly assigned therapist. With this pandemic, the line-up of folks have probably changed - but I’m holding my breath there’s someone great out there. Anyone have particular experience or recommendation on a therapist at any specific NYC equinox location? (preferably white, hot, athletic, but hey, beggars can’t be choosers so whatever comes my way, I’m appreciative). It’s most important to have someone strong, experienced, and thorough… if anything else happens, kudos, if not, at least, I got to enjoy an amazing deep tissue massage. Any specific names and locations? Feel free to DM me as well since I’m sure this can be a matter of privacy.
  11. Thinking about New Paradise Men Spa for today. Any recommended therapist(s)? Specifically someone who is Russian/European, technically skilled, experienced with ability to deliver painfully strong deep tissue. Sensual would be nice, but not a must. Super grateful for your advice!
  12. Bump. Curious as well
  13. Any recommended therapists? Only Asian or white staff as well? The rates seem a bit high. What is this member pricing?
  14. Any folks have M4M massage therapist recommendations who may be able to provide out-of-network health insurance reimbursement? Similar to out-of-network chiropractors that sometimes also offer medical massages that the patient can then submit for claim reimbursement, would be great if there’s someone out there who can provide a “legit” massage...
  15. That was true for me this time around
