  1. "the county's COVID-19 death rate among the fully vaccinated is 0.00036%., said Los Angeles County Department of Public Health Director Barbara Ferrer. The numbers show that coronavirus vaccines are proving to be extremely effective, she said."

This from Los Angeles.. Gives further proof that dying from covid after vaccination is an infinitesimally small chance.

Providing further comfort is this quote from Rochelle Walensky of the CDC,

The emerging data confirms what many of us thought would be the case—that not only do the vaccines stop symptomatic COVID, but they also make it highly unlikely that someone can even be infected at all."

In additional good news, the 8 members of the New York Yankees that tested positive after vaccination apparently have zero symptoms.

I think it's safe to say that the" Follow the Science " crowd for some inexplicable reason is going against their better judgment.

  2. I'm fully vaccinated and so are some of my go to guys, so I'm comfortable getting a massage now.

But I'll be 100% masked walking up into Whitetrash-Mart. I trust the mask more than people these days.

My two cents on dropping the mask mandate is that it's just going to drag things out even longer. Ug.

I'll be joining the Trader Joes "Follow The Science Crowd" , 100% vaccinated, unmasked and terrifying the Karen's https://www.usatoday.com/story/money/shopping/2021/05/14/trader-joes-masks-not-required-fully-vaccinated-after-cdc-guidelines/5093425001/

  3. Saw him yesterday. I think he gives an excellent massage ?. Clearly he knows what he's doing. He's got a great set up, very nice apartment, hot towels, heated table, great music.

He is a sexy Daddy. Great body hair. As another posted here, he paid a lot of attention to my rear... Knew exactly how to treat a guy.

Yes, he's quiet, but he was engaging after when I chatted with him. I'd say he's probably an introvert. He's a photographer, I believe he was a fashion photographer for some time in NYC.

  4. Palm Springs used to be a dry town, and so all of the gay bars were just across the border in Cathedral City

I had always understood that it was easier for gay bars to get licensed in unincorporated areas around Perez Road in Cathedral City and that Palm Springs was just denying license to Gay Bars.

"Several forces contributed to the move of bars and clubs from Cathedral City to Palm Springs including the redevelopment of the downtown area along Highway 111 and Cathedral Canyon Drive and a church and school purchasing land where many of the resorts and clubs once stood. New leadership in Palm Springs finally allowed gay and lesbian bars to operate openly (spurred on by the success of the White Party and Dinah weekends). Though there had never been an explicit ban, the city council had always found a reason to deny permits and liquor licenses previously."

  5. They are two different cities.

I have two friends that live in the same gated resort community. One has his address as Palm Springs, on the south side of the wash. The other is in Cathedral City. Yes two different cities, right next to each other.

Just like Burbank, Glendale, WeHo are surrounded by Los Angeles.

  6. Handing out plastic bottles of water is a sure way to make me never, ever return. It displays a cluelessness that is in this day and age breathtaking.

A nice glass of cold, filtered tap water is the way to go.

The world cannot absorb this toxic (it is highly toxic), plastic trash anymore.

    WOW!

The smug is strong in you. You must have a stroke daily when you see the waste in society, as opposed to appreciating a kind gesture

  7. A client sent me this via email today...

If anyone needs to share with their masseurs, or freelance friends, small business owners

If you're a freelancer or independent contractor

Typically, self-employed people, freelancers and contractors can't apply for unemployment. This bill creates a new, temporary Pandemic Unemployment Assistance program that provides unemployment coverage through the end of the year to freelancers and independent contractors and also provides an additional $600 per week for 4 months in addition to regular state benefits.

If you're a small business owner

The bill provides $10 billion for grants of up to $10,000 to provide emergency funds for small businesses who qualify for the Economic Injury Disaster Loan to cover immediate operating costs,

There is $350 billion allocated for the Small Business Administration to provide loans of up to $10 million per business. Any portion of that loan used to maintain payroll, keep workers on the books, or pay for rent, mortgage and existing debt could be forgiven, provided workers stay employed through the end of June.

    If you're a property/homeowner

Borrowers of federally-backed mortgage loans can request a loan forbearance on their payments (without penalties, fees, or interest) for at least 180 days.

Multi-family borrowers may request a similar forbearance for up to 30 days.

In addition, foreclosures on similar mortgage loans are prohibited for at least 60 days and evictions from properties related to several federal programs are also prohibited for a 120 day period.
