Question for everyone. I’ve seen someone who offers a shower before/after the massage, but the majority have not. For the most part, it hasn’t been needed. Also, most of time, I’m taking public transportation into the city, so there’s some walking between a station and where I’m getting the massage. If it’s crazy hot/humid out, is it kosher to ask if a shower before is ok? I would think the masseur would prefer to not touch someone sweaty. I wouldn’t want to be presumptuous/out of line.

For me, I just look at it as something different. I'm married, and while we have a monogamish agreement, I don't really have interest in full experiences. I love getting massages, even when they're just therapeutic. If there's a connection going on there, and there's sensual touch (and maybe kissing) and release, it just enhances the experience. Admittedly, I'm surprised with even myself because one of my biggest concerns with any activity outside of a relationship is fear of over-connection, or it taking away from the relationship. I think I've done a good job at compartmentalizing (if that's the correct term to use here) and enjoying the physical and sexual pleasure for what it is. I've fooled around with some friends recently too, but I know who I want to share every intimate aspect with. That being said, if this (or any other) activity is detracting from your life/experiences in any way, I think it's a great thing to take a break and do what's best/healthiest for you.

I've been there twice. It's pretty much what Madman described. Definitely all different ages, sizes, etc. People tend to be very respectful if you're not feeling them. There is a no anal/oral rule (only jacking and kissing allowed). As someone slowly opening myself up (no pun intended) to something like this, massage, etc., it was a good experience.

Crazy impressive. I’d book an extra half hour just so that got all the appropriate attention.

I was just coming to post about this. I had someone say “tips appreciated.” I’ve tipped private massage therapists before, but I’m also paying you in cash. I figure that should be implied, but not stated.

Was therapeutic only when I saw him last week. But was still a really nice massage.

I had one massage where he got me off right when I flipped over. He was very kind and assured me the massage would continue. I don’t know if there was plan for an ending too, but I was still hard, so we made out a little and i got off again. The happy beginning, I feel, has its pros and cons. On the one hand, I like the idea of being relaxed throughout (I get hard even when getting therapeutic massages from chain places, even though I know nothing is gonna happen). On the other, I like the build up, especially if it’s someone I’m seeing for the first time.
