140 is a sweet spot - I assume it will be mostly legit/therapeutic but  you are advertising on a website that caters to 99.9 male clientele, so I hope YMMV is still on the table. 
if you’re “available now” - referring to RM then try your best to reply to a query. It just says a lot about who you are as a person and how you value client. 
Do not have an a la carte of your massage menu/rates a massage is a massage and a client would assume that at least there will be a sensual component (otherwise there’s a ton on Thai massage place that provided a good massage even less than half the rate.  I’d like to believe whatever happens beyond that is consensual “It takes 2 to tango” lol 
Do not short on time! I don’t have to explain this but if your style is rub a dub and mostly play I guarantee you that return rate is very very low. Looks can only go so far. There are many fishes in the ocean and by nature humans likes variety lol 
I do return a lot to masseurs that really have the skills even if the session is remotely sensual mainly because they have the SKILLS!

Some of the massage advertisements are pretty bad, more so on Rentmasseur but also on Masseurfinder.
 
Masseurs - if you’re looking to attract clients here’s some advice from someone who has booked a lot: 
 
1. Steer clear of the overly sexualized rentmasseur titles. “Top stud” “9incher” “sexybro”. These names belong on a different site and not for massage work.
2. Don’t lie about your age. The majority of us here have ways to research how old you actually are.
3. If you don’t have a face picture as one of your photos, most here will not even consider hiring you.
4. The sweetspot for rates for massage that most are looking for here is between $120 - $180. Anything over $180 for 60mins will make most of us not even consider booking with you.
5. Include a photo of your massage space and table in your ad. Make sure your table has sheets on it as nobody wants to see a bare massage table in an ad. If it’s bare in the ad, we expect it to be bare when we show up.
6. If you have a 30-minute option on Masseurfinder, most of us will not take you seriously.
Others - feel free to ad!

It’s more the vibe I got from him. It was strict therapeutic. But i could be wrong — there’s always the proverbial YMMV.

I have actually, maybe a year ago or so. Like what others mentioned here, he was therapeutic with me. I do agree that for that price is quite steep for just therapeutic. Massage was technically good tho. He's actually from Europe forgot where it is but he doesn't have an accent as he is working on it to become an actor or something. Although I remember I didn't like how he smells. I don't think he has a B.O but he may have forgotten to jump in the shower before our session LOL. Not planning to go back

It has gotten too high I think average starts around 180. I’ve seen some started at 140 now at 200. And please don’t start on me having “ask” on their rates. I generally pass. It’s ridiculous. I am NOT taking the plunge I hope their business is thriving - I highly doubt tho. Not to mention their a la carte menu… the list goes on and on lol

Prices are generally all over the place and have definitely gone up. I’ve also noticed Rent Masseur is creeping into Rent Men Lite.
I booked someone recently for a massage that escalated quickly and I rebuffed him and he laughed and said “oh you really came here for a massage”. Which honestly says more about the clients than him, but still…

I am seeing the price "creep" also in some Atlanta regular visitors as well as local provides.  One visiting masseur I first saw around Thanksgiving was at $120.  At Christmas time he was $140.  I noticed yesterday he is visiting again later this month and his ad now lists $160.

Ok, so let me share my story. So I’ve been seeing this masseur for a while now. I know he’s only therapeutic as he stated that in his ad. He’s skills are phenomenal, great massage always and rates are good too! I would always opt for the 90 mins coz his massage is that good! Towards the end of the massage he would let me finish myself. I tried to reach him but he would always put my hands away I still do until now lol...he has a way of saying no but somehow I don’t feel rejected. One time, there was this one session wherein I reached my hand out and he let me feel his shorts. Definitely there’s something growing in there that gets harder and harder. While I was doing that I noticed he started working on my behind like he’d never done before. I began to moan and his finger goes deeper and deeper. For some reason I hold back and hold his hand as my way to tell him to stop. Then he flipped me over. He let me finish with my face right on his shorts with his full hard on but he didn’t take it off...looking back if I didn’t hold back it could’ve been a different story. I still see him till now but nothing close to that one moment...sigh! I know there’s a chemistry something you can’t explain but it’s a feeling when you’re in that moment. Just like what the peeps are saying here, go for it! You got nothing to lose.
