There is literally no one there early. I went in between 11:30- midnight and there were maybe a dozen patrons.

Went to Boardwalk last night. Renovations are nice - modern new barstools with little to no back support suck! Otherwise pretty much the same cast of characters and vibe as before. Only noticeable change was staff and security dress professionally (black suit without tie look) and oh yeah $15 cover on a Weds night. I didn’t check out the back room/ lap dance area as no one there captured my fancy.

Thursday thru Sunday for sure. Weds is the only night I’m not sure about. When they were open on Tuesdays upstairs was closed but they had the small VIP area next to the bar. Not super private obviously.

Not too long ago the roster there was outstanding. It has fallen off pretty drastically.

Andrew hasn’t been there in quite a while - heard he relocated to Miami so not sure if he is Johnson’s FTL or Boardwalk. Instagram is working and posting weekly.

Honestly I don’t think he has thought anything through at this point. Got the impression he hasn’t done anything other than decide he wants to open a club in Atlanta.

Matt is now teasing Richards Atlanta as coming soon. I talked to him yesterday at Johnson’s Tampa and he doesn’t have a location or anything done yet really.

That club has been on a downward spiral for the last 6 months or so. They had a pretty outstanding roster of dancers at one point and they have all moved on. The crowds have been pretty light the last few visits even on weekend nights.

Agreed - it's not cheap but good privacy and the monitor doesn't bother you until your time has expired.

In all the times I've been there I have never witnessed this.

The upstairs stage should win an award for dumbest idea in the history of strip clubs. It takes up the bartender's work area, there are beams the dancers can easily hit their head on, you have to walk around and actually go behind the bar to tip the dancer.

Johnson's Fort Lauderdale maybe but Tampa has really relaxed that "rule" and groups of women are becoming increasingly common.

What is the entry fee for these events? Do you just show up or do you need to do something in advance? Thanks

I noticed he has been back in Tampa for a few weeks and suspected it fell through. Matt has a tendency to flex on social media even when things are just in the exploratory phase. Dallas - Miami - Chicago - who is next?
