You're not kidding! Committed career suicide on the air! What a disappointment.

To quote Maurice Chevalier: Ah yes! I remember it well...

Yes! Can't believe you remember that! Nice to bump into you on this board. 🙂

This reminds me of a situation I found myself in a hundred years ago. Way before the internet, when I was a puppy, I remember lusting over a particular classified ad, probably in LA's Frontiers Magazine (remember that?) One night I finally worked up the nerve to call his number. A sexy voice answered "Hello?" and I froze. Paralyzed in shyness, I hung up immediately, without saying a word. Immediately my phone rang back. I knew he had "star 69ed" me. (Remember that?) I felt so guilty about hanging up on him, I just couldn't ignore him again, so I picked up. He sounded so nice, so reassuring, so friendly (and sexy) that I let him talk me into meeting. And, boy, I was so glad he did. He was all that and more! So I guess I have nothing against a provider contacting me if I've shown interest. Not that it happens very often! 🙂

Is Age Really Just a Number? - Chasing Life with Dr. Sanjay Gupta - Podcast on CNN Audio WWW.CNN.COM Getting older is often seen as a negative, or something to avoid. But the reality is, it’s happening to us every minute of every day. Is there a better way to think...

TV ADS: THE GOOD, THE BAD, & THE UGLY
Boink replied to samhexum's topic in TV and Streaming services
Reminds me of one ongoing tagline for one of the diseases - "I have diabetes (or whatever disease), but diabetes doesn't have me!" -

Actually she does sing "I have type 2 diabetes" in the opening line. (But I can hear why you think otherwise.) Either way, it lends to the cheery mood of the commercial set in a land where diabetes is shown as just a pesky inconvenience. -

Hands off!! I saw him first. Apparently he is a TikTok star, or influencer, or whatever they're called these days. His name is Daniel Victor. He is in a dead heat tie with my other crush... -
Another annoyance about those automatic replies: If I want to see additional private photos on a model's profile, I am instructed that I must submit a request to that provider. Apparently that request goes to their RM Chat feature. More often than not, these days, I'll get the automatic reply prompting me to contact the provider at their number. Well sometimes I'd just like to see some additional pics to help me determine whether I want to contact them directly. It's little things like this that lead potential clients to be accused of wasting the provider's precious time. It keeps us 'potential'.

Why is average Life Expectancy declining in United States ?
Boink replied to SouthOfTheBorder's topic in The Lounge
The drugs may be coming from south of the border, but to me the real problem is why is there so much DEMAND for them on this side of the border? If we'd stop buying, maybe they'd stop selling. -
For those who abhor tattoos, avert the eyes. Gentlemen Asher Collins.

I used to feel this way, but ink has become so prevalent by now that my objections have pretty much evaporated. It's gotten to the point that on the rare occasion I see an un-inked hunk, my first impression is that something seems off. PS This guy is gorgeous! 🙂 -
I don't mind when someone contacts me after I've looked at their profile. Although that ONLY happens with people I'm not interested in.
-
I'm like that, too. Usually if I get to the point of contacting them, it means I've officially made up my mind to see them. They'd have to quote some outrageous fee in order to deter me. Once I had such a pleasant back-and-forth text conversation setting up a meet with a certain provider that I completely forgot to ask. I finally remembered to ask on the eve of the appointment just because I didn't want to arrive short funded. His quote was exactly what I expected it to be. (By that point I probably would have paid higher!) He was well worth it, BTW.

I subscribed to his Only Fans page for a while, and he seemed to chronicle his move west a bit with some posts from the road. His posts seemed to slow down considerably after a while, around the same time his Vegas based ad disappeared. One of his last entries was something to the effect of apologizing for the lack recent posts. I remember him saying "life happens" which made me curious, and I think his last post said "I'll be back", which made me optimistic. But it's been radio silence ever since; well over a year or two.

Oh man! One of the many providers I lusted after, who, just as I was ready to take the plunge, stopped advertising. I never give up hope that they'll return to the scene someday.
