I returned to Batman Spa and went for a massage with Phil last evening. Phil is muscular, not bad looking, probably early 40's. He speaks very little English so don't expect to have a conversation with him. His massage technique is a bit different than most. He did a lot of what I will describe as 'rolling'. At times, I had to ask him to lighten up on the pressure. He stayed fully dressed during the massage. After I flipped over, I tried to encourage him to get comfortable and remove his clothes. When he understood where I was going he knew enough to say "how much tip"? I threw some #'s out without a definite amount and finally with some coaxing, got him to show his body. He is in good shape and well endowed. I believe he was pleased with my tip which was modest but I don't go overboard on the first visit. If he knows what I like on a return visit and responds without my asking, he will be rewarded. Overall, I liked him and will repeat. Phil is there on Thursdays and Fridays. He works at Prime Mens Spa on LI the remainder of the week. So, he's a hard working guy and I respect that. Tony the receptionist was there and did a massage as well. Such a nice big place and empty otherwise.

As much as I can understand why you are feeling the need for a nice de-streesing session, is a massage a wise choice while you are still bandaged? I know that most good masseurs will ask at the beginning of a session if there are any issues that they should be aware of. The bandaged leg may scare them off especially if they've never met you before. I can understand a masseur who is familiar with you may be able to work around it. Are you able to travel to a private masseur's place in your condition? OK so I've checked out the new Batman Spa. I had a massage by the manager, Tony who looks just as his picture. It was a good massage and I felt pampered with several hot towels used for the neck and back towards the end of the hour. Tony stayed fully dressed throughout the massage. When I expressed that I like some mutual interaction with the masseur, he told me to come back on a Thursday or Friday when "Phil" is here and he will be open to that interaction. Batman Spa is a nice sized place. There's like 5 stations for mani and another 5 for pedi with the massage rooms in the back. Completely private, comfortable sized rooms. More than one bathroom in the place and the one near the massage rooms has a nice shower stall inside of it. The spa is clean, tiled floors, modern. They are wiling to rent out their massage rooms to an outside masseur to meet with their client. The place has potential. We need to give them business.
