I'm in your age category so can relate. Once he squirted the oil all over the family jewels, I would have expected some caressing and massage on those parts. When he didn't go there, I would have said something for sure. It did seem as if he wanted you to take the lead by either letting him know to proceed or put his hand there. I had a similar experience with a private masseur one time. I had been to him a couple of times previously so knew what to expect. After turning over, he briefly massaged the front and then said "we're done"! So I got up, proceeded to get dressed and when I was paying him, I expressed my disappointment without the happy ending. Why should this present a problem? If I have enough stamps on my card for a free massage, i don't have to pay the spa for the massage allowing more $$$ towards my tip. The spa should still give the masseur his 1/3 of the spa price since it is the spa's promotion. I'd give the masseur a bigger tip if he takes care of me either way.
