  1. Everyone calm down...gassing airplanes and pricing condos......no one has met him yet, remember?

Since he's about 500 feet from me I'll give it a whirl.

Enjoy yourself Tassojunior! I have good vibes about this one. Let us know how it goes.

  2. There's one provider I use who's $160/90 mins who is worth it. However he's set the bench high where I'm skeptical for guys charging that much for 60 mins. All the recent events have really done for me is to not try new people often. I'd rather have 1 awesome experience at a higher price than two decent ones at the same price. So essentially I use one guy for an unique massage and awesome fun time and another for deep tissue spa quality therapeutic. I just can't justify $100+/hr when I can just go to massage envy when really , the massage is the primary thing I want with extras on the side.

KINECTED - would you mind sharing your 'gems' with us . . . Or not? Your description sounds like a meal plan and that you've definitely got your favs lined up. Good for you.

  3. I have noticed over the past month or two that prices are rising. Masseurs who used to be in the $140-$150/range have raised their prices to the $160-$170 range. (My price point had always stopped at $150.) I have also seen a larger number of masseurs now in the $180 range. Any ideas why the sudden increase?

DMITRI - Although I agree with you to some extent, I find that quite a few masseurs are offering discounts under certain conditions. It's not always practical "for appointments before noon" or "up to 3 PM" for the working guy but some offer a "20% discount for the week of . . . " and so on. If business was booming, I wouldn't think we would see this. At times, I do see it from our popular masseurs but not always the case. I took advantage of the sale with a masseur I've seen before and still paid him the full price. He was so surprised that I didn't take advantage of the discount. I told him that he was worth it and I considered the discount as part of the tip, so I still saved.

  4. Hi - with Craigslist no longer posting personal ads, does anyone have any leads on where to find guys advertising for nude housekeeping services...or any references to share?

    Appreciate anyone's help and feedback!

I find this request quite intriguing. Not even a French maid's outfit. However, can't help but wonder if the only requirements are dusting, vacuuming and scrubbing the toilet. I would guess that depending upon the Resume and 'package' presented, YMMV.

  5. Been there twice....not positive at all!! Workers upsell for more time or tips. Not recommended at all! My last visit there the" massager" only did my back for 60 mins. The time was up and he said additional fee for more time to do front. I quickly got dressed and paid the $55 (no tip from me, of course). The cashier said the boys work on tips so I told him about the upsell. The boy came out, gave me the middle finger and I left. Avoid this "Spa" !!!

Oh forget it! I don't even have to ask you if you left happy. I'm not that surprised since it's run by the same owner of Why Not. I left there disgusted the last time I was there and have numerous reasons for Why Not?

  6. There is a new men's spa that opened a couple of weeks ago at this address in NYC. I understand that it is the same owner of Why Not which is only one block away. This is called "Successful Men's Spa" with all new masseurs. I haven't been there as yet but wondering if any one of our esteemed forum members can opine? A grand opening special is on with $55 for a one hour message and they do grooming as well. 212-989-1012

  7. Why can’t I find Anthony’s ad now??!!! Anybody has seen him recently?

    i can't find george's posting anymore

You will find both Anthony & George on Masseurfinder. Anthony now looks different sporting a beard but very nicely groomed hair and beard.

  8. Never understand humanity's ability to "go low" in the quest for more money.

OMG!! They call that relaxing? They'd have to drug me to lay there with those things crawling all over me and licking me. I feel like taking a shower just thinking about it. No. Thank you!

  9. Last time I saw him he was planning a vacation for around now.

Jose is in town. I saw him this past week. He provided a deep, thorough message and he is a very nice guy. However, I was somewhat disappointed with the ending. He kept his shorts on and it seemed a bit obligatory and rushed. He was definitely enthusiastic with the message but the ending could have left me happier.

  10. Your admirable attitude will be a big advantage in fighting this. Stay strong!

Funguy- I've always enjoyed your thoughtful and insightful posts. You are our Funguy and you will beat this by keeping up in Funguy style and not let it get you down. We are all supporting your full and speedy recovery. My sincerest best wishes to you!

  11. What's next? You must wear a scuba diving suit to get your massage?

I don't know if any of you experienced this but while I was doing my browsing on the site, this message popped up and I pressed 'I agree' and continued to browse. Then while browsing another time, this message popped up and I pressed 'nevermind' and they logged me right off! Those scheming bastards! I will say that despite all the craziness with the site, there are new masseurs popping up daily. There was a nice picture of a newcomer named "Anthony" that I saw today. I wondered if he was the same masseur by that name that some of you guys had raved about on another site? Nice looking guy with a beard, well groomed.

  12. She's made her share of bone-headed remarks. The one that stands out for me is when she and Poppy Bush toured a shelter in Houston during Katrina and she remarked on what an opportunity it was for all these displaced people to get to make a fresh start in Texas. The lines from the Wellsley speech are another.

Unless I am naive, I would take that comment and put a positive spin on it. Knowing that these people lost everything they had, Barbara was reaching out and welcoming them to her home state of Texas to begin anew. It would be even nicer to know that she gave a generous donation to the cause but I don't take that comment as an insult to those affected by Katrina.

  13. A reporter on CNN just NOW repeated a Barbara Bush quote that she remembered from a past interview - "The best thing I ever did in my life was to have married George Bush" :)

Yes, but knowing the type of woman she was and the life style that she lived, in her case, I don't believe it was all about the money. She and George were a devoted couple, raised a large family together, all well educated. In today's world, it is usually all about the money but I don't believe that applies to Barbara. She didn't exude a lavish lifestyle and her support of reading and education was genuine.

  14. You should try him, he's a talented masseur and provides a very satisfying experience!

For your information - I've noticed from Joshua's masseurfinder ad that he is in NYC thru April 26th. He does look promising. If anyone tries him out, let us know. Thanks!

  15. Anyone have experience with this guy?

Yes, I have been messaged by David numerous times as recently as a couple of weeks ago. I have enjoyed the thorough message including outstanding rare attention to the feet, hands, along with nice conversation, relaxing atmosphere and all at a reasonable price. Try him and I don't believe that you will be disappointed. Let us know after you do.

  16. I just had Peter at the men’s spa on 6th ave off 28th st . I forgot I had him a long time ago . He is a master with his hands . I always prefer older masseurs because of the experience and he delivered . Just the right combination of rhythm, pressure and technique . I am feeling so light right now . He has some sensual elements as well in there but the massage itself is the main thing .

Hello there - may I ask which Men's Spa is this? I know Babylon is close by there.

  17. I hover around $100-$120, but the best deal I had was with Alexi from Miami. It was $200 for 90 minutes and they were the best $200 I've ever spent. I just wish I was super good looking to the point that he wouldnt be able to resist his urge to mount me <_<.

Remember Moe- it's not always looks that make you irresistible. It's the chemistry between the parties . . . And the size of your wallet that plays a part.

  18. This is the pic from his ad. I don’t see a resemblance.

IF memory serves me correctly, I believe this guy had the picture of him on Masseurfinder with a beige colored dog wrapped around his neck for the longest time. I thought it looked kind of weird to me even if it was a nice doggie. What are you going to do . . . Use it as a therapy dog as part of my message?

  19. I thought about trying that for a hot minute and came up with several reasons it’s a poor choice, at least for me.

The biggest reason I would not choose that method is that I want to individualize my time, approach, and services to the person. Simply having an appointment for Jim at 5 on Thursday tells me nothing actually useful for doing my job, particularly if this is someone I’ve never spent time with before.

It also doesn’t allow you to screen clients. It doesn’t allow you to negotiate times and dates. I also really don’t care to share my full schedule openly with anyone passing through my site.

I think it’s really important - particularly now - for us providers to not turn to automation or less personal experiences. We’re called on to be with people for some very intimate and vulnerable times and we ask for a considerable fee for our time. Part of what a client is paying for is to feel taken care of and provided with the special attention they deserve. I can understand the temptation to look at something like automatic scheduling that ostensibly appear to make life easier, but if I were a client and felt my escort was removed from the experience of interacting with me by some software, I’d move on.

Eric - you are very smart. There are still certain things in life that require a personal touch for a worthwhile experience. Also, should a potential customer know your schedule to see just how busy (or not) you are? This poses problems for both parties. There are certain things that should be kept private.
