This movie was mentioned in another forum.
A young man has sex with another male and then commits suicide.
Should this movie be considered anti gay, homophobic?
Gracias. I know some words have both an "o" and an "a". Like naranjo is an orange tree and naranja is the orange fruit.
I thought maybe, hoping that there was something similar for calendula,

First time I heard of this was on an episode of "Bewitched" years ago.
I have never heard of anyone being asked this.
My front door is solid. I was watching "Chicago Fire" and Kelly went to visit his father. His father's front door has a large clear window pane. From the outside one could look into the entry hall. Of course that allows the person who is in the house to easily see who is knocking.

He just turned 48yo.
He was one of my favorites.
He was on the dance circuit. But I've never been able to find out if he escorted or not.

The Spanish word for the Marigold flower is Calendula.
If one wanted to call a pretty young man after the flower would it be
El Calendula?

I remember a Sherlock Holmes movie where Holmes and Watson (Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce) came to America.
So Dr Watson wants to hail a horse drawn cab and says "Hansom". The driver took it as "Handsome" made some quick remark and drove past.
I've noticed that the use of the word "Hey" as a greeting is becoming commonplace. But it's use as such goes back awhile.
I remember when I was a boy I had this schoolmate whose father whenever he heard a boy say "Hey" he would say "Hay is for horses".
Thus I'd say "Hi" or "Hello".
Zola Budd was a South African runner. Some taxicabs are named after her. Thus I thought if one wanted to hail a taxi they could say "HEY BUDD".

This was mentioned on an Australian soap opera that I watch "Home and Away".
I thought that an interesting idea. I wonder if anyone has done that here in the USA.
