I’m with your brother on this one - low cost, broad based index funds are my preferred way to invest my brokerage funds. I dont have the time or inclination to personally track or hire somebody to advise me on a managed portfolio. Advisory fees take a big bite out of your returns, let the buyer beware. John C Bogle has been preaching this for a long time and I have not seen any evidence to refute his positiom. Warren Buffett gives the same advice. So I am pretty much sold on this approach.

I did the exact same thing. Loved Fios, had it for many years, but too overpriced. Spectrum isnt bad - have not had any problems (knock on wood!) Post script - are you sure this qualifies as a momentous life decision???

Mine is motion driven too. I used to be able to take it off on Friday, put it back on, on Monday without need for adjustment. Nowadays it runs out of juice by Sunday morning so I have to adjust it every Monday morning. (I know, it is SUCH a burden! )During the week I need a watch. Weekends, not so much.

I watched it for the 2nd time this weekend. Never felt the need to watch Brokeback mountain for a 2nd time, so your point is well taken. That being said: consider that Brokeback was more than 12 years ago, made for a very different time. That production took some pretty heavy weight hollywood stars and cast them in a gay/questioning role. Gay cowboys in the American West!! Prayer groups were formed, bibles were clutched, Jeff Sessions almost swallowed his tongue... I think I WILL watch Brokeback again, this weekend!!

My approach is to give a masseur a non-explicit thumbs up here on the forum on the Spa section. I will go so far as to indicate whether I was ‘happy’ or not. If he asks me for a review, I submit a review to Daddy’s, just like I would for an escort, but in the space for ‘activities’ I indicate ‘massage’ and not ‘escort’. I dont submit a review for masseurs unless asked. You are wise in your caution...

I dont disagree with your approach. It works for you and may work for the majority of guys. It may not work for everybody. You make two assumptions (from my reading of your post, I could be reading too much into it ) 1. Time and ability to meet on short notice. Speaking only for myself, I travel quite a bit, work long hours and need to manage a fairly unpredictable calendar. It can be hard to meet on short notice. 2. Inclination towards overnights and weekends. Again, speaking for myself, I dont do overnights. Mainly because I have to be out the door by 6:30am most days. Way before most guys are firing on all cylinders (too early for morning play for most guys!). For me, an overnite must include morning play!
