It happened to me too. This is just very scary to have someone like that in your home. The pandemic caused many to have severe mental health issues, in New York especially.

He accused you of wasting his time when it’s him who’s wasting the time of others in a harassing manner. Hopefully karma will deal with him if not law enforcement.

He unblocked me today just to yell at me more lol. Ended up just blocking him... Maybe it's because I just finished watching Dahmer on Netflix, but my intuition said stay far away from him... Last thing I want to be is naked on a table in a room with him.

I agree that,  if you ask roger , total different,

Good to hear. Maybe i'll go back. I went once and the kid who was working on my back started asking for "big tip" during the middle of the massage. It really takes me out of the mood when that happens.

  3. Has anyone else visited EPIC MEN'S SPA in the east 60s? I went last week and would like to know if my experience there was representative of what they offer. DM to discuss. Thanks!

I called Utopia who's available today. Someone told me Victor came back. I had once with him. strong hands , great man.  highly recommended. I plan to meet him again.

Utopia (probably like most spas) has been hit or miss for me. I had an AMAZING massage over the summer by a younger Asian guy who delivered. Since then, I've been back twice and end up with the same guy (slightly older, buzzed head) who just rushes through the message and is very mechanical about it. Clear that he doesn't really care. Probably won't go back without making an appointment w someone good.

  5. Well put, PA. Also, whatever their orientation might be isn't particularly relevant to the job they're doing. Whether or not they're making their clients happy is obviously more important than how they identify sexually in their private lives, and a certain amount of acting/role playing will definitely come in handy. Let's not forget that some clients would prefer to have a gay masseur, while others are more excited by the idea that they're being massaged by a straight man. How is the masseur supposed to know which clients prefer which role?

I don’t disagree, and I also didn’t mean to suggest that the quality of their craft is predicated on how they identify. Certainly, it isn’t. Really, I was just curious.

  6. Russian Bath is a DUMP, it's over $50 to get in and the staff are obnoxious. One seems to get off on busting people and verbally berating them. Hard pass.

Good to know, thanks. I was going to check it out one Sunday but may not now.

  7. In answer to CJinNYC, you get what you pay for. Yes, Shangrila is a bit more expensive, even a tad more expensive than its "sister" Spa, Utopia. That's because it's in a high rent district, with a fancier décor, and have more overhead to cover.

He said that he was "unimpressed with Yeah Man and Why Not." Cheap is cheap. Shangrila is always spotless (so is Utopia), and the staff is efficient and welcoming. I have no idea what the other two spas are like, but if they charge less, there's probably a reason.

He said he's unhappy with the other two. I think it would be well worth a few extra dollars to try an upscale spa. He has a lot to gain, and not much to lose.

Thanks! The massage at Yeah Man was boring and the last two I’ve had at Why Not was either too light, or the masseur was too aggressive. I’m happy to pay more for quality, just don’t want to pay more because of frills and high rents.

    Thank you!! :)

  8. Is Shangri-la worth the premium? I feel like it’s more expensive than many/all of the other options. Lately, I’ve been unimpressed with YEAH MAN and WHY NOT, which were my go to places.

  9. These replies are great. My Gym, equinox, has cracked down after a few press incidents... that said, it still happens, just not at rush hour. NYSC on e86th had a ton of action at one point... the steam room is (was) very discrete and isolated. That said, it was also a troll haven.

I will try KTown again... but last time I went it was under constant supervision. Please PM me if there is a good time to go, or anything organized!

  10. Some one do it intentional. They live on this.

Exactly. Notice how he waited until the end of the session

They seem to be more lenient with the towels. I went yesterday and every guy had a hand towel and they didn't say anything this time. Unfortunately now they have a worker sitting in the wet area watching. So awkward. Only about 6-8 guys there so seems they are losing a lot of customers now.

I agree. I never had the chance to go before the placed shut down for a few months but was unimpressed when I went a couple of weeks ago.
