The owner has reversed one of the policies and tried to apologize for the social media comments. What’s more interesting is this from an article last week: “In an interview with the Windy City Times, Colunga said Johnson’s Chicago was expected to open in May. However, Ald. I’m sure it will open, we’ll see how it does. It generally looks bland and one note, and Chicago ordinances will keep it so. There won’t be true private dances or nudity.

Any recent experiences?

My hunch is they try to buy something that’s already existing because there aren’t many empty bar locations in Boystown and I can’t imagine it going anywhere else. But getting a liquor license in Chicago is brutal. I would be surprised if this happens soon.

I echo that sessions with him are great. I enjoyed my times with him.

No, we did not.

I went to a number of the private parties that used to be at Jackhammer back in the day. They were always hot times with full nudity, where you could purchase foreskin shots and “toss the salad” of the dancers. Most of the dancers claimed to be straight and it was always funny to think they were leaving the relative debauchery of that afternoon to perform for unsuspecting straight women later that evening.
