I know that Medicare will cover the cost of a wheelchair every 5 years. It needs doctor's approval. I know someone who got one 4.5 years ago and can apply/request a new one in June of 2019.

This guy I know... Mr. Jack Dixon now based in SF close enough that I can book time with him when he is not traveling. I love this hobby.

Oh, I didn't make the connection between the young Colton Ford and his more current version... I have seen a movie/documentary on Colton Ford "Naked Fame" where he is pursuing a singing career. As you pointed out, he has aged into a daddy type and he fits the bill. Hot man!

"If Avalon had consulted a physical therapist/doctor, they would have taken measurements and gotten him a "Medicare covered" walker/rollator which would fit his needs. He would never have seen a bill. They would have provided him with training on how to operate it and maneuver around. Avalon will have a better life when he is not hibernating in his dark apartment, devoid of human contact and making decisions that are bad for him." -------- Medicare will also cover the cost of a wheelchair as an option when Avalon needs to travel longer distances or he is tired of walking with the walker. He would need a Doctor/Physician note.
