  1. I find this topic highly interesting. I entertain a great deal. I never have my parties catered as I love doing all the cooking myself. Most of my parties are small sit-down dinners with six to eight guests. My place is small, about twelve hundred square feet plus a small-nice patio. Three or four times a year, however, I do host large gatherings usually forty to fifty attendees. With that many guests, in my small place, the dinner is served buffet style. I set up an elaborate drink table in the patio and guests make their own drinks thus they can make them as weak or strong as they like. I have one wonderful friend who, I have learned, is not happy being a guest. She prefers to be involved thus she helps me by setting up the buffet table and seeing that the drink table remains well stocked. She thoroughly enjoys being “useful” and makes my life a great deal easier. I do not even mind doing all the clean-up after the party, it gives me time to wind down and relax. A week or so after the party I take my friend out to dinner to a nice restaurant where we enjoy dissecting the party discussing things to keep and things to discard for my next gathering – great fun for the both of us. One of the highlights of the Palm Springs Weekend, for me, is preparing and serving nearly all the food for the Sunday Pool Party. I stay at our hosts condominium and am thus able to do all the prep work on Friday afternoon and all-day Saturday. I start cooking early Sunday morning. Sometimes I think our host would like to kill me as I become very possessive of his kitchen. P.S. Now to answer the specific question on this thread. I absolutely loathe tip jars under any and all circumstances, including at Starbucks. I am a very generous tipper and do NOT need to be reminded to do so.
  2. I agree with MscleLovr, your group is probably too large for a boat. You would need a very large yacht which would likely be prohibitively expensive. You might want to consider Puerto Vallarta. From about anywhere in the U.S. the flight time there is five (5) hours or less. For example, from L.A. it is all of three hours. There are numerous villas of all sizes, locations that come staffed or un-staffed available at reasonable rates. One can choose between being in the hills overlooking Banderas Bay or on the bay itself in places like Conchas Chinas. It would be best to be located near Old Town (Zona Romantica) because that is where the best restaurants and bars are located. It is also where the gay action is. Where- ever you decide to go you might want to start looking for a villa on vrbo. I have used the site many times and have always been happy with the results. In fact, I have already reserved an apartment in Rome for the fall of 2023. If you are interested in Puerto Vallarta feel free to PM mefor more information and/or suggestions.
  3. Any bodybuilder with bouncy pecs has gynecomastia which is the absolute last thing any bodybuilder would want.
  4. Current soft body size and acne are definite indicators of major steroid usage.
  5. WilliamM you used the word "everyone" I did NOT. My recommendations were directed at this specific poster and no one else.
  6. Okay come on you are only twenty-three. Be decisive! Decide what you want NOW. Nothing, but death, is cast in concrete. If you are enjoying the money and experiences, you are having escorting now; continue. If in six, twelve, or twenty-four months, or more you feel differently then change your life at that time. You and you alone should be the master of your present and future. Good Luck and for God sakes have fun, Fun, FUN, move on and stop worrying about making a “permanent” decision.
  7. In the end when all is said and done the only thing that counts is doing whatever makes you happy and is not self destructive. Good luck making your decision and by all means HAVE FUN.
  8. I grew up in a Los Angeles neighborhood that was predominately Jewish. Thus I grew up sprinkling my conversations with Yiddish words. I still use them to this day. After I had taught a few months a group of my freshmen students approached me and asked if I was Jewish. When I asked why they asked they said that I was constantly using Yiddish words when speaking to the class. I explained my youth and they had a good laugh. These kids remained close to me during their entire four years of high school. When they graduated they presented me with an autographed copy the the book "The Joys of Yiddish". That book remains one of my most cherished possessions to this day. With that background in mind I must say that I cringe as the use of the word schmuck in casual conversation. The word is insulting and offensive in both Yiddish and English.
  9. Costco has also not changed the $4.99 price of their huge rotisserie chickens. If I’m making Enchilada Casseroles or Chinese Chicken Salad for a large party, I NEVER buy and cook chickens. I simply buy them at Costco and shred them it’s far cheaper. There is a Costco four blocks from my home and I use it as my regular grocery store. I absolutely love the place. I usually go in looking for one item and come home with a full grocery cart. Costco isn't always the cheapest but I love their business and employee practices therefore I regularly shop there. I used to be a fan of Trader Joe's but definitely NOT so much since Aldi bought out the chain.
  10. Love the photograph with the coffee cup. The guy definitely has a sense of humor. If he ever gets out here to Southern California I would certainly consider hiring him
  11. An interesting situation here. One of my best friends has two adult children (in their early 40’s). His son is single, and his daughter is in a same sex marriage. His daughter and her spouse decided they wanted a child. The daughter did not want to carry the child, but her spouse did. When they announced their decision to my friend and his wife the wife suggested that they approach their son as the sperm donor. After the son realized that his mother was not asking him to have sex with his sister-in-law he agreed. The two women now have a seven-year-old daughter. The girl is the biological granddaughter of my friend and his wife. She is their son’s biological daughter and the uncle-in-law of his sister's child – INTERESTING. At first the whole thing seemed weird but now everybody in VERY comfortable with their choices.
  12. I have traditionally been very conscious of prices in grocery stores. Nowadays I go in buy what I want and ask the checker to throw the receipt away. Frankly I'm NOT going to stop entertaining and thus I buy what I need to do so and to hell with the prices. However, is seems that most people, myself included, are very concerned about inflation. I vividly remember what it was like during the Carter Administration.
  13. Now just to prove how old I am - Who the hell is Roxie Roker
  14. In my neck of the woods with a great body but a VERY limited repertoire of sexual activities. I guess I will have to pass.
  15. Would someone please explain to this clown that showing several photographs of himself fucking a woman isn't the best way to garner clients on a gay website.
  16. Definitely attractive but he advertises a four-inch cock. Now I'm certainly not a size queen but at four inches I'm surprised he would even mention it.
  17. I am going to be at London Heathrow for one night in early September. I have set up a get together with DinoBravo for dinner and some play time. We have been emailing back and forth and he comes across as an extremely nice guy. Have any of you spent time with him. https://rentmen.eu/DinoBravo
  18. I most definitely feel old when: I roll out of bed every morning and nearly every thing aches I look in the mirror when I shave I realize that I don't have a clue who all the young actors are today I realize all the young actors I knew when I was young are now old I realize all the older actors I knew when I was you are now dead However, the major problem definitely seems to be that the mind doesn't recognize that I'm old but the damn body sure as hell does.
  19. I saw the film “Elvis” last week. I highly recommend it even though I found it extremely difficult to sit through and one of the saddest films I have ever seen. I was bowled over by Austin Butlers portrayal of Elvis Presley. The guy absolutely nailed it from beginning to end. If he does not win the Academy Award for Best Actor, it will prove to me that winners are not selected based on their performances but rather on what is politically correct at the moment. I did not, however, much like Tom Hank’s portrayal of “Colonel Tom Parker”. As far as I’m concerned, he over acted to the point of creating an absurd caricaturization of Parker. However, my money is definitely on Hanks winning best actor in a supporting role for his performance. Hanks along with, for example, Meryl Streep and Helen Mirren are amongst a group of actors who if they walked out on a stage, tripped, and feel over the audience would go crazy – they simply can do NO wrong.
  20. I have found that when traveling in Europe is can be extremely difficult to find "local" guys. For example, try finding a British escort in London - there simply don't seem to be many of them. Most of the escorts available in London are Spanish, Italian, or Brazilian. Trying to find a Brit is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. The same is quite true of Paris as well - many North Africans and escorts from other former French colonies.
  21. I will always remember his portrayal of Brian Piccolo in the 1971 made for T.V. film “Brian’s Song”. I cried during the entire second half of that film.
  22. As far as weather is concerned it doesn't get any better than San Diego. Seldom over the mid 80's or below the low 60's. The one MAJOR problem that San Diego, like all other California cities, is experiencing is a homeless situation that is totally out of control. At least two cruise lines have ceased stopping in San Diego because their passengers have been accosted by homeless panhandlers. State and local governments appear clueless about how to address the problem. However, even with the homeless problem San Diego is still a great place to live.
  23. I am most definitely a band buyer. Since that is the case I'm not remotely interested in shopping at places like Aldis and Grocery Outlets. An excellent example of my brand buying is that I am not remotely interested in how much less a house mayonnaise is I ONLY buy Best Foods/Hellman. House brands don't carry any attraction for me.
  24. Interesting comment Charlie. You are probably speaking for me as well. I have a Traders Joe's directly across the street from me. I have never been a big fan of Traders Joe's as are many of my friends and neighbors. They simply do not carry most of the items I normally purchase. I'm not a big fan of prepackaged meats and I can find vegetables as good as theirs cheaper at other markets. I do like their cheese selection. I do use Smart & Final because it is even closer to me that Trader Joe's and I like their vegetables, however, I don't care for the meat. I generally buy meat at Stater Bros. when it is on sale. I also do a considerable amount of shopping at my very local Costco. I keep my pantry stocked with Costco items. I entertain a great deal. I have people over for dinner at least once or twice a week thus food is a major expenditure for me and I know prices and where to get the best value for my money.
  25. Thus far the summer here is Southern California has been glorious. Overcast in the mornings until about 9 a.m. temperature between 65 and 70 - great for walking. Afternoons have been sunny and in the low to mid 80's. with very low humidity. Frankly it doesn't get any better than this. However, we still have to face August and September which are usually our warmest months. Fortunately I will be in England from September 2nd to September 15 and will hopefully miss some of our really hot weather. We have a lot of problems here in Southern California but weather certainly is NOT one of them.
