I’ve always wondered about a good old Chinatown spa that might provide extras. Seems they should exist but I haven’t heard of any.

Not TOO far away is Yeah Man

Chen was always good at Yeah Man. But haven't been in long time since Covid. Whose there now?

  2. Like the early days of Covid, there seems to be uncertainty with this now as to 1 or 2 doses and also I guess depending on where you live as in UK, Canada, Germany there are offering a 1 shot of a different manufacturer. I got my "1st" shot Saturday in NYC, and they have on the vaccination receipt a place to be filled in after the "2nd" shot, so seems like they are planning on giving 2 here for now anyway. I just noticed on a fact sheet they handed us from the CDC saying "people who have received small pox vaccine in the past might only need 1 dose." But they did not ask if you had smallpox vaccine, nor anywhere on the sheet to even notate that...🤷‍♂️.

This was a new update today from the University of Barcelona.

    Short and succinct..

    https://www.biospace.com/article/monkeypox-serious-but-not-a-global-pandemic-experts-say/

Thanks I thinks its great to see and read all of the info that's coming out now.  But this article is confusing; in one paragraph they say " it has been found in saliva, semen, urine, fecal, nasal." Then in a later section, " The virus appears not be transmitted sexually." Well if it's found in the latter, then it can be transmitted sexually no? I realize I'm no medical expert, but......? Just wish they had cleared that up before publishing.

Regardless, I'm getting my shot or shots, as it can be through sex, or just contact skin to skin and droplets even...

    Stay safe all!:)

I talked to my doc yesterday. He said my smallpox vaccination may offer some protection, but I should get a monkeypox vaccination.  He's gay and sex positive and knows what I do and approximately how many people I do it with. He said, "continue with your current partners but avoid new contacts until you've been vaccinated".  He mentioned spas and massages as risks to avoid.

Thanks, where are you located? Just curious as looking for a gay sex approving doc, 😂

TSMS is certainly not higher end luxury but by NYC standards it’s one of newer cleaner spots. I especially like the two rooms with showers.

Hey there, didn't know there were 2 showers there, I've only seen the one each time 😁

He should get the vax if he can. It may not appear for a few weeks.

Yes I agree, he should still get the vax, I read somewhere recently that it can take unto 3 weeks to show,🤷‍♂️

Had a similar experience at tsms which I go to all the time , usually always see the same masseur but he wasn’t there the one time and saw Adam , okay massage. Then next visit my usually guys back and at the end he says “I heard you tipped Adam more than me” it was so uncomfortable and not true , haven’t been back in a few months since then which sucks cause I liked it there

I've experienced this a lot there too... :( the comparing, asking about tips, makes me crazy, especially if happens during the massage. As I've posted before, I never go back to whoever does that to me, as there are other places and masseurs who are respectful.

  8. Oh wow, I am so sorry to hear this. I did not know him personally, but feel very grateful to him for having started this site, and giving so much for a place where we can all safely explore our lifestyles and discover more! Thank you so much Guy/Fawkes, rest in sweet peace!😇💖

I hate trying masseurs with no reviews, but he's only $120 incall in Hell's Kitchen.  I am tempted.....

I agree. Plus he's not been online on Rentmasseur since Dec. 2021, so maybe he's just doing massage  occasionally?   But do let us know if you take the plunge :)

Do you tip on top of this?

If I go to private massage, meaning non spa, from my experience one is not expected to tip. Anyone really trained, for instance like Swedish Institute, or others, their price is the price including tip, because they are trained that they are doing a service period and not looking for just making money. But of course some others may decided to make their own policy, but as far as professionally private, not suppose to be any tipping. Again this has been my experience for years.

Agreeing to a massage with Philip was a mistake right from the start. He is probably the worst masseur there. He likes to upsell too, which annoys me.

Couldn't agree more! He did that to me too trying to upsell and asking in middle of massage if I am good tipper!!!!!  NEVER AGAIN!

This men's spa seemed to have popped up out of nowhere and it has already gone to the TOP of the list with now you say 6 good masseurs.  Max seems to be #1!  Very interesting!

When Max was at Super Men, which is long before Covid, his massage skills were not for me; very light finger, little circular motions. Again just not for me, as I like deep, so I asked for deeper, and it didn't happen. So maybe I have to try again, maybe he's doing deeper now according to these posts? Anyway happy to hear that this spa is around, that the guys have work and doing well it seems!
