I answered the question regarding tips from the standpoint that the client was going to give a tip regardless. I never anticipate a tip or am upset if one is not received. I go over on time frequently and understand it's my conscious decision to do that with zero expectation to be compensated for that time.
If you're referring to the thread involving travel compensation, I was discussing extended travel (hour each way to a client or so).
All in all I'm very fair, passionate, and understanding with all clients. I'm quite facetious on this forum. Many of my replies can be taken at face value, others are pure sarcasm. In a real world scenario, I'm happy as a clam receiving:
1. Zero additional tip
2. A message thanking me and saying they had fun
3. A request to visit again.
