  1. It's a quirk of the business. Just remind yourself of the amazing encounters you've had, and the pesky No shows and Cancelations are easily forgotten.
  2. I like to say I have Brains and Brawn. Thank you for the confidence in my decision
  3. Very rarely. I'll reach out prior to purchasing flights/hotel ONLY if I'm really on the fence. I'll reach out to a few trusty regulars to test the waters so to speak.
  4. An anchor is great, but I tend to throw a pretty precise dart at a map for a new city. I've learned a few lessons along the way, but have had great success in my travels. Only once have I lost $ in a city. That one off scenario involved a client (I'd consider an anchor) pulling out of an ON, incurring unexpected expenses, and a promise that Chicago won't be visited again
  5. I have decided a No go for more scenes. Porn is like a tattoo. Always there. If I ever reconsider, I'll just read through this thread and go from there. Thank you all for the input.
  6. All providers can do is our best to avoid cancellations. They'll still happen. They always do. I wrote a list of practices I use. For me, I prebook cities weeks in advance. Maybe it's differing business models in how clients book/cancel on me vs you.
  7. * *Humorous GIF. All users please do not take at face value.
  8. With all due respect, it was a joke and should be taken as such. I later answered the OP's question truthfully and full heartedly. I enjoy being facetious and thought I'd use you as the butt end of a joke. I apologize if it was in bad taste.
  9. I agree with your address comments. For that reason I no longer answer blocked calls. There is no reason why I shouldn't know an address or phone number.
  10. Well if I fly to Australia, I'd need a damn good reason for a cancelation I believe the most common offenders are young people as mentioned above. They lack the understanding of respect and courtesy. I honestly don't care if I'm lied to about a cancellation reason. I just appreciate any heads up.
  11. Your scenario is a constant headache. To limit those occurrences, I confirm and re confirm: 1. Days prior (If traveling day of arrival in city) 2. Morning of 3. 2 hours prior If they do in fact No Show, I save their number and it's highly unlikely I will ever meet with them. If I give them a 2nd chance, they'll be required to pay for their full session in advance. All of this is under the assumption it is a new client you've never seen. If it's a regular, then that is completely different. Then again, a regular wouldn't stiff you, right? (Pun not intended)
  12. I'm an SPG guy and stay in their hotels all over the country. I have found Westin and Sheraton offer the Green Choice Award most often. I have had one W property in Dallas do this as well. If you're really after the points, choose your free reakfast option AND at Che joint ask for 500 point award. If the front desk person likes you enough, they'll comp both. Also ask for drink voucher cards. I received 5 free drinks in Time Square by only asking.
  13. You don't. It's a complete gamble. I like some of the previous replies. A simple smile and eye contact to acknowledge each other (If you've already met before). I'd say it's safer to approach if they are alone. If they have done porn, then you can simply say you're a fan. I'm sure most would find that flattering.
  14. Just look with your eyes Mr. Kow. In public that is
  15. @KennF If I was spotted in public, I'd like to be approached. It's like seeing an old friend. @Rudynate Yeah the whole "I see you but you don't see me" was very offputting.
  16. I spotted a client of mine working. He pretended not to know me as I was with someone else. We texted each other dirty things minutes later! It was great. I have also had people spot me at airports or at my local gym. Those scenarios involved people I hadn't met. It felt really stalkerish.. they didn't approach me, they just mentioned seeing me.
  17. Then "Ask Me" turns into assumed BB. I feel saying safe only shows that I have a strong preference for playing safe. That alone I'm sure weeds out many people that'd be disappointed if I said no to their request. I have never had any complaints or had someone assume I'd BB because of my porn.
  18. Contradictory? I disagree. Both myself and my screen partner were tested 2x before our scene. Would a client go through that requirement to BB? I doubt it. The requirements for that scene wouldn't exactly be practical in the escorting world so my profile says "Safe Only". I'm not agreeing or disagreeing. Food for thought. Fisting. Would an escort advertise fisting for just anyone to do? In a studio, all precautions are made to make a fisting scene comfortable for the actor receiving. It's a place where there is a guaranteed focus on their particular health and comfort. With a client, that provider would be blindly trusting that the client will do the same. Porn also uses their tricks and cut aways where everything stopped for a bit. Escort/client scenarios are constant "action" @KennF hit the nail on the head.
  19. I don't charge cancellation fees. My whole business model surrounds being as flexible as possible with my clients. I confirm and re confirm to avoid any last minute scrambles to fill time. I'm grateful for any advanced warning of a cancelled appointment. I have had very generous clients pay me for my time even though they had cancelled. I enjoyed the gesture, but in no way expected them to do that. In your scenario, I'd consider 2 days pretty last minute for an ON since that is a big chunk of time to fill. If you cancelled a two hour block of time or so, that'd be far less of a problem to fill. Likely, the pro user in question had already turned inquiring clients away for that specific day already up until the cancellation occurred.
