So I met with a provider last week I saw before. Our first session was...great. We met in the morning. He was in a mood saying he’s not a morning person. His mood was off the entire session, like everything was bothering him - my beard, pinching his nipples, etc. Then during our session we had to stop 3 Times so he could, well, clean up. Then he said he could not finish and could we end “another Way”. This whole session was, well, kind of a downer. Still I paid him in full and even a small tip. Now he plans to visit my city next week and proposes to get together again. If a repeat of session 1 I would say yes. If a repeat of session 2 I would say no. But what I’m really thinking is I did not get the full experience from our last session and there should be some sort of “do over”. But there is no such thing in the offing. Discuss.....

He is without a doubt an enjoyable experience. He makes you feel comfortable and treats his clients with respect. The sex is awsome. More importantly he works to make a connection with you. This heightens the overall great experience.

I agree with @rvwnsd with one minor caveat, I'd say talk to a (vs. your) doctor - one who you can feel comfortable being open about your situation, this may require finding a new/different doctor. I don't think the escorting detail is important to share, especially since that's illegal, only that you are sexually active with other men (MSM). The science and options for HIV and STIs has changed a lot in just a few years and you could get bad advice/reaction from someone who is not up-to-date or disapproves of your choices. If you live in/near a major city, I'd seek out a doctor who caters to gay men's health. Many of us who lived through the terror of the AIDS crisis live with some amount of PTSD as a result esp. when it comes to sex, which is so sad really. Personally, I'd recommend anyone sexually active get on Prep...whether you consider yourself "safe" or not. There is mounting evidence that it may also prevent Hep B. Best of luck.....

It's a stretch to assume someone is HIV+ or not based on what porn studio they worked for. It's also a stretch to assume that all providers will be honest (or perhaps even informed) about their status. The only risk-free activity is abstinence, even kissing has a calculated risk associated with it. Best bet is to govern your own behavior as if everyone you connect with is HIV+, that way only you are responsible for the outcome. Thankfully, science has changed dramatically and HIV in most cases is 100% manageable for your lifetime with meds.

There is some wisdom in your thinking. If you feel awkward about relationships and sexuality (M or F) this is a way to "have it your way" and with no expectations, pressure or judgment. Be sure to communicate fully what you want/need both before and during. Also I’d book at least 2’hours longer if you can so you don’t feel rushed and can enjoy the experience.
