Years ago I got sick from a provider who clearly had the sniffles while he was working on me but never mentioned anything about it. It really soured my impression of an otherwise exceptional masseur. The thing I wonder about is whether the Only Fans boom will result in more of the successful providers moving to mid-size, lower cost of living cities rather than choosing between NYC, LA, etc....  

Same here! I guess most masseurs who have the ability to build up a strong clientele would rather live in New York...

Usually it’s the masseur who initiates “more” and there’s no upsell. I just tip extra as a courtesy when that happens. Upselling during the massage is a huge mood killer for me because it’s never happened as a result of me trying to push boundaries, so it just comes across as random and stilted. And it always comes from guys who aren’t good at massage anyway. I’d rather a masseur just say they have different pricing for different levels of interaction up front and then I can choose.

I think that guys who are his type get a better experience with him.

I definitely learned a very valuable lesson from that experience, so it’s all good ☺??

I agree that having someone in the home during a massage wouldn't be ideal for business, but it's up to him to decide if he's ok with it provided you're comfortable. I was seeing this masseur in NYC and on maybe the third visit could hear someone rustling around in the kitchen. The masseur claimed it was "the cable guy" but I'm sure it was someone who lived there. It was distracting and also made the whole experience seem less private. If I were a masseur (or living with one), I don't think I'd want clients in my home at all, but I'm a very private person.
