Don’t give up, @Pensant. In Spanish, there is a saying “matrimonio y mortaja del cielo baja”, which loosely translated means “marriage and shroud descend from heaven”. I can tell you that my own partner showed up in my life when I least expected it, totally out of the blue, and I was not sure I truly wanted one. Love just happened.

My partner of 18 years (and counting) and I share a sleeping bed only when traveling (remember what traveling is? ?). As a matter of fact, we‘ve always had separate bedrooms and bathrooms. When we want to play, we use his bed or mine, whatever. The system has worked very well for us.
