There really is only one PLANNED meal meeting. And as you note the pool-deviled egg party. If you read this thread and search for others they will describe both the activities and in some cases a few of the resorts that guys often stay at. Of course, you can stay anywhere you like. Guys tend to stay at a few because it tends to foster camaraderie. As mentioned, some of the working guys come in the company of someone at the Weekend, some come for an evening or two and then are available to others who attend, and then others come to mix and meet. You can always approach and see if they might be available even tho that was not their first intention. There has been an attempt in previous years to get a thread going where the working guys would announce whether they will be available to make the whole process easier.
