I use my iPhone with an app with large numbers. You can have two different types of brightness and I use the alarm when I need it (which thank God is not that often).

I discovered these new type of ice cube trays (for me) made of silicone. They come in a few colors and two ice cube sizes. The thing I like about them is that you get the ice cube out by pushing from the bottom of the tray. That way the ice cube comes out unbroken (unlike the usual twist tray where some inevitable break). They have tops so the water does not spill when you transfer to your freezer and are square and smaller than a regular ice cube tray. I think they take up less space. Ah, it's the little things.

When I first saw it advertised I thought that it was part bidet sprayer and part dildo. Or maybe I was hoping that. My second thought was that I was sure that that part would shortly break down. Then what do you do.

Mine starts up automatically when I start my computer although I know that you can change that so that you can manually start it up. I did that once and would always forget to turn it on. When I turn it manually I always go through the Netherlands. Again, no particular reason why.

I never give money to a homeless person, mainly because I really don't know what they will use it for. Most always say they want the money for food. So, instead I just offer to take them to any nearby restaurant of their choosing and I will pay for a meal. If they are sincere they will take me up on it and I accompany them to whichever place they want to go. Most want to go to someplace like MacDonald's so I can pay right after they get their order. If they do not take me up on the offer then I assume they were not sincere. A friend and I used to get into huge arguments because she thought it unfair that I would tell them what they had to do with the money. However I felt that was the way I could sort of ensure that they would not spend it on liquor or drugs. But I try to have $20 in various bills on me.
