I am sure there are a couple of threads that discuss overnights, you may want to do a search. One is https://www.companyofmen.org/threads/overnights.142186/#post-1611319. I am sure there are others. For me I so not like to eat before I have sex so in general I would always have light appetizers and some kind of drink and then have hot and heavy sex. When that is done and we have taken a nice shower we go out to eat for dinner. There isn't much I really mandate except I make sure I leave time for him to answer a phone call or two. Then we probably would have sex the next morning and I always either make breakfast or ask if he wants to go to breakfast. He might not and generally that is not part of the overnight. For me, for an overnight, I do not leave "time" for him to be by himself as I would if it were a full day or two.

Certainly one (of many) reasons to attend the dinner. Epig, did he attend the pool party also?

Sorry I could not answer about Gen Xers. However I think I am a Baby Boomer. I was to explain the other day to my niece when she asked me why it was that my friends seemed only be people who were younger than me. I told her that most of my current group of friends were people that I got to know when I went back to school in my late 30's and they were in their 20s. Unfortunately, I explained many college friends all died in the 80's because of AIDS and thus that whole swath of friends that would be my friends now were no longer around. I am sure there are other reasons but for me that is one main one.

Thanks for your input. But believe me you can cultivate other hobbies and still contribute occasionally. Also you might pick up a hobby or two just by flipping through the Movie, Politics, or Theater section. But good luck in all that you do.

Scientists depend on the honesty and the reliance of their patients. Unless a patient drops by a practitioner's office every day and takes the Truvada it would be hard to be absolute about any study. It is always good to have data but studies can't be sure unless the practitioner is absolutely sure that the client has taken all the doses. The first thing I noted in the study that the article was about is that it relied on the word of the client.
