I have finally been able to get Netflix (streaming) and I really like the whole series. I binged and watched the first two seasons and half of the third. As you say the scripts are extremely interesting if you want more of the personal stories behind the headlines. As a matter of fact it has been extremely interesting to me because my undergraduate work was in British history that focused predominately on a study of the kings/queens and Parliament. This series seems to have, as you say, much more of focus on the personal battles fought within the monarchy and sometimes in a skirmish with the PMs and Parliament. I find the acting to be overall (of what I have watched) to be extremely good. Of course, Claire Foy and Olivia Colman are two different actresses who have two different styles of acting but actually I found Colman's restraint to be a realistic portrayal of how the monarch changed over the years. You get a sense that this is going to happen when you see the very last scene where C. Beaton is trying to take the last photograph and Foy just looks "shell-shocked." And the transformation of Helena Bonham-Carter from Vanessa Kirby shows a realistic trampling down of a somewhat "free spirit" to a still spoiled princess. The production values remain consistently high.

If there is a chance of that and you do not care either way, why are you worrying about it? A trip to beautiful Bali can be good for the soul. If you will be disappointed if you do not have more than a drink then speak to him about it as you will feel very bad if nothing more happens.

Was the free peek something he deliberately forced upon you? Did you call him out for it?

I had the same experience. Before the association switched over and got the internet provided through another company we got everything through RCN (home phone, basic cable, and internet). It was about $120-30 a month. After the switch, we had no choice but to get internet through the association. Our association fee went down. However the next bill I got from RCN was over $500 for the following month. When I went into RCN to see if it could possibly be true they said they had to consider I was no longer receiving internet through them. I could not figure out why it would be more when I was actually receiving less service and I got an answering regarding "bundling" and blah, blah, blah. Then they found they could give me a "deal" starting the next month that was about $220 (includes HBO) but I would have to take basic internet with the package - which I was already receiving through my association and could not get out of. The entire thing seems like such a scam.
