It reminded me of the HBO (?) movie whereby you begin not knowing what is going on. The characters are black and white and it turns out that the movie depicts that the South had not lost the Civil War and that the slaves retained their original position. It also was a mystery at the same time. Then again I could be losing my mind because it reminds me of the novel the American War by Omar El Akkad whereby there is a Second American Civil War and the protagonist is placed in a camp for displaced persons. That camp is between the fighting North and the fighting Southern states.

It's funny. I used to hate them (thongs) now I love them.

My small gym is near west (Huron and Orleans). Is that River North? I can take the Brown Line which at the time I need to use it has few people on it. Certainly much better than the Red Line as all of the stations are outside. I try to sit near the doors for air (silly I know) and because I am in Printers Row (near Harold Washington Library) I do not have very far to go.

I apologize. I should not have called it a gym. I see a private trainer and there may be 2 trainers and 2 clients at any one time. I think that is still considered a gym here. But on the walk there I am surprised that almost none of the people walking are wearing masks. That is not to say that regular gyms are not open also but just less people being seen but much more than mine.

Not very many mask wearers as I walked to my gym today. I guess that they figure it is "outside" but it was also on the L. I want to see how they act when the mayor starts closing things down. She is a woman who generally means business.

I am fairly ignorant about the flag's history and the meaning of the color's in the stripes. I always thought that the each stripe did not represent a particular queer group or that each color meant a color like white, black, Asian, etc. but rather that all the colors showed the expansiveness and inclusivity of the queer community. I look at it like that.

Not sure if that is Brad Patton but it would be great to see Tom Chase paddling in that pool.

I think queer is fine to let one know that the person falls under a particular umbrella but gay, lesbian, etc. generally lets me know whether it is a male queer and on. I thought that this was a short overview of the word "queer". Didn't he also always have fairly permanent female companions? Not that that necessarily means anything but I think that Zeb pretty much was straightforward about where his interests lie. But hey, go for it.

Perhaps I don't like beards (well, actually I like some) but I think this one does no good for him. It really squares his face too much. Take it down and then imagine if he might look better without it entirely. I am someone that thinks it is better to go in stages and make decisions.
