I agree, JT, communication is essential. I won't hire someone if he won't allow a good, honest, genuine phone conversation first. I'm noticing really high "rates" listed too; I'm assuming maybe either business is down (it must be down for so many) and some guys are hiking rates because they just have to survive. Or, I suppose they might want us to believe business is great and therefore they can raise rates. That just seems unlikely, especially based on some guys I know and what they've said about how things are now.
