My point about the agencies is that you're paying a markup unnecessarily for nothing. I honestly don't know others that are still active except China Gay Escorts (CGE), which has a terrible reputation, at least among the people I know.

If the MB was agreeable with the fee offered by the agency he would collect the full price, and then the MB would be expected to transfer the agency's share back to them after the job (which was already very easy using mobile phones in China).

 

Back to my guy - so he wasn't surprised to get a call from this stranger but since I was there I told my MB friend to ask for the URL of the site. That was CGE. I remember they offered my friend HK$600 plus taxi and whatever tips the client was willing to pay. CGE had actually asked for HK$1,000. So immediately there was a HK$400 markup.

 

My friend ended up saying no because the fee was too low and he was tired. So that's essentially how they work.
