Yes. I was being sarcastic to @Eric Hassan .
 
He implies that "You think it is true that you are not sexy, therefore you look for evidence of that in the world".
 
But I point out that, given that I am not getting free sex with young guys, I do have the most obvious of the possible types of evidence. Unless he implies that I reject opportunities of sex with young guys.
And to what purpose would I do that ? Just to make a point about being right?
 
That would be silly. I am not rejecting sex when I can get it.
 
The simplest explanation is the most likely:
I'm not getting free sex from young guys because I'm not very sexy, to most of them (not all, I know, I know).

We disagree on several other things, but not on this. It has nothing to do with a lack of self-esteem. Of course there are young men out there who are attracted to old(er) men, but to say there are "plenty" of them is wishful thinking in my world. Ten to 15 years is reasonably common, but over that is about as common as a 5 karat diamond.

Not me. The main reason I hire is for hot guys I can't get at my age. I have no problems hooking up with guys my age so why pay?

Repellant is a little stronger than how I feel, but yeah, in short: I don't think I'm sexy. I would not have sex with myself (or a clone, or an equivalent of me, whatever you imagine) unless I was in love.
 
I can however, have sex with men I find very sexy even though I'm not in love with them.
 
This is why I pay them, in my case, it is so I can have sex with much more sexy than the guys my age. I pay them, in part, because all the guys their age do not find me sexy enough to have sex with me for free. They agree with me: I'm not very sexy, but they'll do it for money.
 
Call that self loathing if you want, I call that realist, and it seems the world agrees with me (on my lack of sexyness).

you can check back, but dont get your hopes up. The way things are going, I'm not sure the pool repairs will be complete before he leaves. College football jocks sacrifice alot of their summer. Apparently, colleges can't require it, but its an unspoken expectation - and peer pressure from teammates - that they return mid-July.
 
Nothing's gonna happen. I actually like him too much. A perfect opening presented itself, and I told him I'm gay, and he didnt blink an eye. At this point, the idea of trying to exploit that gives me the creeps.

There is little doubt the bisexual label has been abused by many guys. There is a line in Torch Song Trilogy that sums up the attitude of a lot of gay guys I've talked to: “Just once I’d like to see a bi-sexual that lives with a man and sneaks out to see his girlfriend on the side.”
 
I do believe bisexual people exist, but practicing bisexuals seem to be very rare.

Is it really that complicated in the context of escorting? I don't care to plumb the depths of someone's psyche. I don't care if it accurately represents the fluidity that they may have experienced over the course of a lifetime. I just want to know how they are marketing themselves right now. I will infer certain things based on the marketing category they choose, and I will make hiring decisions based on it, but l really don't think it's all that complicated.
 
EDIT: Funny story. A young escort that I know originally advertised as bisexual as a marketing thing -- until he was actually contacted by a female. After some very uncomfortable messaging with this lady, he changed his orientation to gay.

this denial of labels is odd. everything in life gets labeled - and its not a big deal. accept it and don't make it a big deal. if you're gay - say it. mostly no one cares any more, and if someone does - even more reason to be clear.
