The last scene of Maurice when he and Rupert Graves finally find each other in the boathouse is one of the most erotic and romantic gay scenes ever filmed and has become my happy place! I go there whenever I think romance has died.

Maybe 5 years after Borstal released I bumped into Shawn Hatosy getting take out in WeHo and told him what a great job he did in that movie and talked, briefly, about how fun for him to be so young and fly all the way out there to play the lead in that film.

I have SO many good gay movies I recommend. I can't go through them all again. If you click on my name and go through my posts and find those about movies, you'll see I've posted Youtube clips to all of them. (is it "to all of them" or "them all"?)

Anchors Aweigh (1945) may not be an official "gay" movie but the way Frank Sinatra can't take his eyes off of his bro-buddy Gene Kelly (even watching him as he sleeps in one scene and breathing down his neck every time he talks to a woman on the phone) and pint-sized Dean Stockwell oggles them both leaves much to question. Also we have a cartoon Jerry the Mouse chirping "I'm dancing!!!"

Wings (1927) and Midnight Cowboy (1969) were the first "gay" Best Pictures, predating Moonlight. Well... to be specific... the former had Clara Bow as the female "love interest" but she fails to compete with the soldier boys' focus on each other right up to the "dying" kiss scene. Even when caught in her undies, "Buddy" Charles Rogers is too drunk and passed out to get a rise from HER. In the latter, Joe and Rico "Ratzo" toss around the derogatory F-word because they think they aren't gay... and Brenda Vacarro gets Joe to succeed sexually with her by questioning if he is. Yet Joe doesn't turn down teenagers in Time Square or traveling businessmen.

Of course, Midnight Cowboy tested the waters for the same director (John Schlesinger) to tackle Sunday Bloody Sunday (1971), perhaps the most modern "sexually fluid" drama of its era. Sadly Murray Head can't make up his mind between Peter Finch and Glenda Jackson, so he leaves Merry Ol' England.

Victim (1961) shows its age but was still a ground breaking social conscious film out to prove to mass audiences that being discriminated or blackmailed for a gay affair was no different than being attacked for being black or Jewish.

Fassbinder's Fox and His Friends (Faustrecht der Freiheit) (1975) was criticized at the time for presenting the "gay world" of West Germany as shallow, but I don't find anything wrong with it. It is just the story of a simple guy who wins the lottery and thinks he finds love and happily-ever-after with a young "semi-otter", only to later realize he is being used for his money. The story isn't really about "being gay" so much as struggling to fit in. Also plenty of groovy '74 fashions here. Even in Morocco, El Hedi ben Salem sports the bright orange and white as he gives the two leads a wink. (Check out the heterosexual Ali: Fear Eats the Soul to see him buck naked. One of these days a thread should be started for him in "gallery".)

Weekend (2011) may have a little too much talk and the steamy sex scene is too short, but it is a good "test" film to show your strictly heterosexual friends. It is no more hotsy totsy than all of their "heteronormal" chick-flix, so they have no excuse to start squirming.

Le Monde du silence (The Silent World) (1956) features Jacques-Yves Cousteau leading a sizeable crew of shirtless (i.e. almost-but-not-quite naked) dudes on his Calypso and no woman in sight. Even the Dachshund on board is male. The shots of them together in clusters enjoying peaceful slumber sums it up. The two Kon Tiki movies (both the non fiction film with its peekaboo nudity, 1950, and, the dramatization, 2011) are equally good.

The Wizard of Oz (1939)... C'mon. I don't need to explain.

I agree with you! Posting something mean about an escort on here is even easier...

Besides to each his own. Some clients no matter what the escort does they will always see the glass half empty.

Many a times 1 star review are fake too that another escort gives out due to competition! Many times the reviewer never meet the escort but give 1 star or negative review out of jealousy or hidden evil motive! Sometimes when the clients obsession is not entertained, out of anger 1 star is given! I think hiring boys is like gamble and you have to take the risk!

Again this trend is wrong! He never met Leonardo and still have five reviews, which is misleading to other clients! I understand giving 5 star repeated reviews once the client met the escort. But I will never accept of review with 1 or 5 star by a client who never met the escort! The whole purpose of review is defeated ! Cd- is fake!

Bad reviews by Premium (paying) members usually aren't removed. I saw that negative review he had and it was removed hours later like so many 1 star reviews.

I have several times, but it's been with guys not considered pros. Hot craigslist finds searching for women in casual encounters, a personal trainer once, a mostly straight bartender another time. I wouldn't pay it for a pro. If I'm paying that much I want low mileage and the thrill of opening one's mind for the right price Oh, and many of those were negotiated for an hour, but ended up staying much longer and doing an unexpected extra round or two

The prices for escorts (as determined by doing searches on RM) are creeping up. However, $200/hr seems to be the going rate with some slightly above. For all of us who hire escorts, I think it is bad practice that many of us would pay more.It will only serve to up the market rate.
I also can't tolerate escorts coming to Canada and advertising in US dollars. Some Canadian escorts are now advertising in US currency. True professionals like Eric Hassan charge in local currency.

I'm uncut. And it makes me feel annoying when the pubic hairs go between my glans and foreskin. It usually happens in the morning. I guess I get hard in the evening and the hair is stuck there when my penis becomes soft.
I know it might be because my penis is short, alas...

Mydavid reacted to + SundayZip in Seeking arrangements success!
A couple weeks ago I was ready to give up on my seeking arrangements experiment, but then I got some great advice from another forum member. I changed my profile a bit and got more strategic in my online interaction. As a result, I've met several nice guys. I ended up having sort-of-sex with one guy, but it was extremely awkward and I have no desire to repeat it. I also had a date with a guy who is looking for a sugar daddy to pay his college tuition, take him shopping and wants only a platonic friendship (ain't gonna happen with me).

I'm coming to the conclusion that the site is not right for me. I don't like the uncertainty and I don't like the slow, meticulous effort it takes to court younger guys who haven't figured out what they want. Maybe if I stuck with it long enough, I could find just the right guy, but I don't have the patience. This experiment gives me a greater appreciation for real escorts who have their act together and with whom I can have straight forward, no-bullshit encounters. I have a couple weeks before my premium membership expires. Maybe things will turn around in the next two weeks.

My compliments to those who can make this work for them. Kudos to you!

Yes they do because the whole website is sexualized. Professional massage therapists do not use shirtless pics in their advertising. It's an obvious sexualization of them and their profession that they wish to avoid precisely because of the long history of sex and massage. One of Eddie's pics even exposes his ass crack, an obvious ploy to attract attention to his amazing ass. The term masseur is associated with sex in English because of a long history tied to happy endings and sexualization, so I'm not surprised most ads on that website have shirtless pics.

The text of Eddie's ad seems professional, but the rate he charges is higher than normal for someone with his experience and his shirtless pics change the tone of the ad. You're correct that he might not engage in any sexual activity with clients, but his ad suggests otherwise. Given reviews of him on this forum--including yours--I stand by my assessment. He's using sex to sell his services and sometimes engages in sexual activity with clients at his discretion.

Lastly, by law in California, all professional massage therapists are required to include their CAMTC License # in any and all advertising. I believe it's even illegal to claim to be a massage therapist without a license, hence the frequent use of masseur, body rubs, and the like. For the fun of it, I searched masseurfinder and only found seven ads that comply. That suggests that many of these masseurs probably aren't even trained and licensed massage professionals. Here's one of the seven:

Lol! I know I'm being legalistic and pedantic, but that doesn't change my admiration for Eddie's seriously great ass and body. But, I don't believe he's a trained massage therapist either. Like many on masseurfinder, he's probably a self-taught amateur who's using his obvious good looks and physical presence to sell his services. And there's nothing wrong with that, but given the lengths he seems to go through to confuse the issue, any potential client who is looking for a hand, happiness, or more would likely have to hire Eddie and find out in person if he's into you or not.

And, isn't it interesting how he has two different ads with very different subtext? In one ad only a couple are sexually suggestive and he's clothed in all of them. The text is different as well. He's running a risk by calling himself a certified massage therapist if he isn't and he's currently violating California regulations be saying that and not including his CAMTC license number. Either way, he's an interesting body rub provider. Lol

For the groin, I prefer it to be trimmed as close as possible, so every three days I do one pass with a Norelco OneBlade. I don't like the shaved look on myself, because it's only nice on the first day. I've been with a few guys who don't seem to mind the upkeep though.

I shave the balls though. I hate all that wayward hair.

Man who works from home keeps naming his dog ’employee of the quarter’
    David Covucci—

    Seems fair.

If you slept all day, scratched at your office door whenever you needed to take a shit, and ate your lunch off the floor, there’s a pretty good chance you would never be named employee of the month.

But over at Accuride, a manufacturing and hardware company, an officemate who does just that has been named “employee of the quarter” for four straight quarters.

Meeka, you see, is a dog. Since her owner works from home, she is eligible for the award. And since winning it once, Meeka has yet to relinquish it.

Michael Reeg, owner of Meeka and a distribution sales manager with Accuride, spoke with the Dodo after pictures his daughter took of the awards started making the rounds on Twitter. He said that the award really is merit-based, and that Meeka pulls her weight at the office.

“There are times that I’ll even talk to her as I work through a problem or map out a customer solution,” Reeg said. “I try out my sales pitches and presentations on her. She’s not easily impressed or swayed. All she hears is ‘blah, blah, blah, Meeka’—but she likes to hear my voice and I love that she pays attention. Having her in my office all day is something that we both look forward to.”

Accuride is also onboard with Meeka’s eligibility and winning streak, according to a spokesperson: “Meeka is an outstanding support to Michael and his work. Dogs are the best.”

Yes. We should replace all our human coworkers with dogs.
