My bad; I should’ve made clear that I was referring specifically to replies from Masseurfinder ads, for which providers may no longer post sexually explicit photos or text (as used to be the case). About a year ago I contacted a new guy on MF in the area whose ad for a $150 massage included photos of himself in gym shorts and tank top that showed off a well muscled body. After a couple of initial texts to set up an appointment, I wrote him something about us both being nude during the massage. He replied that I could be naked if I wanted, but I would still be draped, and he would be willing to strip to biking shorts but would not be naked and would definitely not allow me to touch him in any way. When I told him that $150 was kind of steep for a clothed, strictly therapeutic massage, he responded that his training and massage skills made the price worth it. As he would’ve been a bit of a drive for me, anyway, I just canceled the whole thing. But I cautioned him that he might be receiving more requests similar to mine, due to his fee and the photos he’d posted. A few months later he inserted new photos of himself, with less skin showing and looking rather drab.

If I see a masseur on Masseurfinder with whom I might like some “extras,” I first check to see if they also have an ad on Rentmasseur (with an erotic option) or Rentmen. If they do, I ask if the massage is nude on nude or at least tell them I prefer to be undraped for the massage. Sometimes I receive a note of outraged virtue (which has also led to some interesting correspondence) or, more often, the masseur lets me know that he also prefers to be nude or assures me that the massage is “full body,” or something along that line. A few times I’ve been told that they’re fine with me being naked but that they wear shorts or something; however, in every instance I can think of, the masseur was also nude when he got to the HE. In fact, I remember only two massages I’ve ever had for which the masseurs remained completely dressed throughout - and I’m pretty sure one of those was because the guy’s partner arrived home during the masssge.

I generally check out rentmen ads on my phone rather than on PC; not sure if that makes a difference. It’s been my experience that if the provider does not put specific dates in his ad, it’s impossible to tell if he is currently in my city or will be here next week or 6 weeks from now. Likewise for cities that I visit. Sometimes an ad has a little icon of a suitcase, sometimes a house (even though it’s turned out, on more than one occasion, that the provider was in fact just visiting), sometimes something that I don’t recognize but I assume means the provider travels to the area (?).

Yup, after the last time a certain provider’s ad appeared unexpectedly in my city, I added him to my Buddy List so I can better follow him. Not sure why he doesn’t list his travel cities the way, e.g., Victor Powers does.

Not being a provider, as either an escort or a masseur, I have no idea how the system works on your end. I don’t check the usual sites (Rentmen, Rentmasseur, Masseurfinder) every day, but when I do, it’s very frustrating to see an ad pop up with no advanced notice that a certain provider is suddenly in my area for a few days. Granted, some providers (Victor Powers is a good example) post their travel schedule weeks in advance, and it’s much appreciated. But is the lack of posting the fault of individual providers or of the sites (and some complicated rules)? There are providers with whom I would’ve liked to make contact, if I’d known in advance they would be in my city, whether at home or on vacation.

I’ve wondered if that was the case. However, after meeting the provider in question I got the impression he was purposely trying to mislead people. He’s in a full-time profession quite apart from escorting, so he didn’t show his face in his ad, he includes other fabricated info, and he gives a deceptive location. In any case, my point was that when visiting the area I try to figure how convenient a provider’s location might be from where I’m staying, but in this provider’s case it turned out that I’d be going in the opposite direction and for a longer drive than I imagined.

I’m in the Phoenix “area” several times a year. There are quite a number of masseurs and escorts who advertise as being in Phoenix who are actually in one of the neighboring cities, from Sedona to Ahwatukee. When I looked on the rentmen map for the location of a guy I was thinking of hiring, it showed him being in downtown Phoenix. When we set an appointment and I asked him for the address, it turned out he was at least 25-30 minutes (depending on the traffic) SE of Phoenix, nowhere near where I thought I’d be going.

Let’s say there’s a patisserie where, for a fee, a chef chooses to display his wares. Most guys press their noses to the window from outside and make a decision from there whether to buy the chef’s goods or someone else’s. Other guys pay a fee to get inside and up close to see what the chef is offering, learn more details, and maybe watch a video of the chef whipping his cream. Mr. X pays the extra fee and comes in every day to look over the chef’s stuff, but doesn’t make a purchase. As yummy as the pastries look, Mr. X thinks they may be too rich, or maybe he’s on a special diet, or he’s too shy to ask for a taste.He still may return to the patisserie the next day to check out the chef’s display. But the chef doesn’t like Mr. X coming in without buying, so he throws a sheet over the case when he sees Mr. X and tells him to move along. The chef pays a fee to exhibit his goods, Mr. X pays a fee to look at them. How is the chef being injured if Mr. X doesn’t make a purchase? After all, Mr. Y and Mr. Z are also at the case and may very well buy what the chef is selling.

Saw Kevin again recently. Probably the best massage I’ve had with him (out of 4 or 5).
