Paying an Executor and Successor Trustee
handiacefailure replied to TonyDown's topic in Personal Finance & Investing
One thing that does concern me, being the only surviving child with no nieces or nephews, are a couple things that are very valuable to me for sentimental reasons I would hate to be sold for a few dollars after I pass. My paternal grandfather service in WW1 (big age difference between my grandparents and he was over 50 when my dad was born) and my dad gave me his flag, his army uniform and war chest and bible he had (guess back then they gave soldiers a bible when they got drafted). My maternal grandfather was an excellent carpenter and made each of his daughters a beautiful roll top desk and chairs and the thought of that being sold for a few dollars at a thrift store makes me sick. Sucks being single with no surviving family to pass stuff like that on to -

I’m in a similar situation. My younger sister died in a car crash last year, my died recently passed and my mom is in her 80s and my sister never married or had kids so no close relatives remaining. Im going to just. Spend my money while I can enjoy it -
Would you hire a “side” provider?
handiacefailure replied to asiantwunktop's topic in Questions About Hiring
I think you are very cute and have a nice body. When I hire I never do anal (not my thing). You are being honest in your ad. -
Type 1 diabetic, and I haven't had chocolate milk in years, but liked the Nesqwik sugar free powder. Tasted just the stuff with sugar. I think they also have it in sugar freein ready to drink. Since being on a pump I just have the stuff with real sugar and just bolus for it.

Paper tax refund checks to end
handiacefailure replied to samhexum's topic in Personal Finance & Investing
Wonder if they'll offer the option of a paycard? We haven't issued paper checks for years to our employees but we are required to give them an option of a debit card to load it on for free -

I'm the same way, don't like giving uncle sam an interest free loan. I just make sure my withholding will equal my tax liability for the priior year so I can avoid a penalty -

I'm getting concerned with this myself. I have a trust and my will is a pour over will. I lost my dad and my younger sister recently and she was my only sibling and neither of us have kids so not sure who to handle my estate if my mom precedes me in death or incapable. Really has me concerned about who to act as my health and financial P of A if I need someone My lawyer told me to name my bank as my successor trustee and they would charge around 5 percent of my estate assets to handle the distribution. It's all going to charity so I guess it doesn't really matter -
Expense / Budget tracking
handiacefailure replied to Bokomaru's topic in Personal Finance & Investing
I really like Quicken. Great for tracking my investments and a good tool at tax time the will integrate with Turbo tax. I don't like it as much now that is subscription based and you have to renew it every year -
Found out about this podcast a few weeks ago. A gay couple does a biweekly podcast They talk about money matters and how it applies to the LGBTQ community and they are pretty funny.

I was lucky enough to see it twice with Patti Lupone and Boyd Gaines and Laura Benanti. One of my favorite shows. Patti received standing ovations both times after "Rose's turn" and won a well deserved Tony. I loved her acceptance speech at the Tony's

Wondering the same thing. He said the same thing on twitter but I noticed the "announcement" line is no longer on his rentmen ad. Was wondering if he was going to announce he' retiring

Hope you meet him. And glad to hear he's doing another shoot for kink.

Colt Spence. He has an expired RM ad and has expired a couple years ago. I’d love to hire him.
-
He’s someone I’d love to hire to. I see his ad is active again but hasn’t been on since 4/30. Never heard of him until a few months ago when he started doing scenes for kink.com. Usually not into heavily inked guys but he’s an exception. Great compact body. He has a boyfriend who does porn as rocky unleashed and they did a scene together on kink and kink always does a preshoot interview and he said in one of them he did a scene recently where he dom’d Wish I could find it. If I hired him I’d want him to top in a BDSM scene.

Why would you invest emergency funds in an Ibond? You can't access the money for one year. As long as you know you can go 28 days without needing the money I would do 28 day t-bills and just renew them if you don't need the money. I've always had the money right on time as T-bills matured into my savings account

Bought a $10K on 4/29. I'll see how rates are and the stock market is doing later in the year before I buy a second one this year

Wishing I would have bought a new fridge last year now. Thought about buying a new Iphone (have a 13 now) but sounds like some electronics won't have tarrifs. Grey Goose is my alcohol of choice and I know it will be hit with tarrifs but fortunately I live only 50 minutes from the canada border and have Nexus so if that goes up too much in price, I'll just buy it when I'm accross the border at Duty free or the Windsor costco (I like the Kirkland brand of french vodka) or the duty free shop in Paris

Priciest provider you’ve ever seen? Worth it?
handiacefailure replied to Delter's topic in Questions About Hiring
Oliver Hunt quoted me $700UK an hour when I was in London. Lets just say I didn't respond lol -
They should have sent you an email earlier this year when it was ready. You just go under manage direct to get it. I have a lot of 28 day t-notes and think the 1099 has way too much info on it. It gives all your transactions. Remember if you live in a state with income tax the interest is exempt from state taxes.

Is it common for providers to ask for a client’s pic?
handiacefailure replied to hwic04's topic in Questions About Hiring
Been asked a couple times, and like deposits, if I am asked I either decline or simply dont respond -
I started Prozac five weeks ago. Been going through a lot of stress lately and feeling really down (my GP is hoping I’m only on it for a year or so, and not for good and had no issues putting me on it when I told her about was going on in my life). I started out on 10 MG and then four weeks out she said it was time to increase it and asked me if I wanted to go to 20 or 40 mgs. Not one for being heavily medicated so she put me on 20 and said if it didn’t help after two weeks to start taking two pills and she would call in a new script for 40. Did anyone else experience their sex drive going down? I am single fortunately so don’t have a patter/husband to please. Since being on it my sexual arrousment/wanting to get off has decreased big time. I’m on a couple facebook groups for it and there are all kinds of side effects/horry stories on there but haven’t noticed this problem mentioned (but quite a few of the people are females). Fortunately no other side effects and while it hasn’t cured it, my depression level has gone down big time and when I do wake up from a nightmare, the anxiety attacks are nowhere near as bad as. Before starting it.

Good luck with your recovery. I had a nasty fall back in 2013 and the paramedics thought I broke my hip and it was my femur. That was a real pain to recover from, (They did a metal rod) and I was on a walker/wheelchair and couldn’t weight bear for a least two months (was in a hospital rehab for almost a month) and lived along in a three story townhouse at the time (made me aware I needed to be in a one story condo with no steps which is what I moved into) and lived alone. I was telling the ortho surgeon that the paramedic thought it may have been my hip and he said if it would have been my hip I would have been able to be up the next day and recovery would have been a lot faster, but if it would have been my hip, I was only in my 40s at the time, and said a hip replacement only last for so many yearss and if I lived long enough I would be going through the surgery in my later years where a femur rod, I wouldn’t have that worry.
