    Even before the acronym became official, trans people were part of the gay/lesbian rights movement. It’s not something new. Some trans even started pivotal movements and created safe spaces for lgb peeps. I also believe that this new anti-trans trend is also affecting the whole acronym. It’s naive to believe that being anti-trans means they wont have any bigotry against lgb.

    I don’t think one would assume the Hamptons. It’s long, yes. Also, I know Brighton Beach and LIC are geographically part of Long Island, but nobody would think about these neighborhoods when talking about Long Island.

    You’re just assuming that the hate is coming from “our regime lies” but not from actions from that other regime and asylum seekers from that same regime. I’m not going to get into politics but to believe that Russia is some gay heaven based on chaturbate seems out of reality to me.

    Obviously not an expert. LGBT folks in many of those nations have been prosecuted and criminalized just for existing, which is why you don’t see groups pushing for their basic rights agenda.

    It’s not particularly offensive, but I think that it’s a question that should be part of a conversation but not the start of a conversation. you wouldn’t necessarily ask a non “exotic” person where they’re from or not as interested.

    I was going to say this lol. Don’t overthink it. I agree with tassojuniors advice + just make sure you agree with the dancer what you want to do before doing it. Pre dance tipping is up to you but you can also see what everyone around is doing to have an idea about “proper etiquette”
