Whose responsibility is it to keep track of time?
If we’re having fun and run over the hour or prescribed time, is it assumed the client automatically pays for the additional time - and at rack rate?
Sometimes my providers are totally unfussed and are happy to run over at no charge. Others are emphatic about strict time keeping...
I hate to ruin the possibility of gratis overtime by hashing it all out at the beginning. But I also hate to leave things unclear and risk the need for an awkward conversation and/or find myself on the hook for a huge bill. (feel free to wordplay that - I’ve left myself wide open) (again))
