I think 510guy it the mark....for a known, good massage from someone I trust (sensual) $150 seems to be the going rate now (at least in LA/SF).....I typically will only go 120ish if I can't find out any information on the them....sometimes I'm pleasantly surprised, but most not if I pay more for an unknown masseur.

I think it's personal preference with what is or isn't discussed ahead of time. I've tried both ways - being very direct and less direct, but at least ensuring mutual nudity and not mention other things. I can say that after many years, the best experiences have been more of a surprise. I am frequently disappointed with pre-clearing things up front - plus that feels more like an escort experience when I'm just looking (most of the time) for a decent massage that has the possibility of more.
