Yes, when something is very good and very new, I guess it is easy to feel like it's going to last forever. I've had that experience when my own career arrived at a point where I was feeling really successful, even though that wasn't until I was in my 40s and not porn related. If I could only get paid to NOT take my clothes off on film. ?

Ridiculous as in "obviously an escort"?
-
Perhaps not the right forum for this, I wasn't sure. What's the largest single amount of $$$ you've lost to some sort of provider-related scam? Not limited to escorts, but cam actors, onlyfans, etc. Not asking for names, just curious. I wonder how many of us have some cringe-making experience or other. Mine would be the $300 I "lent" to a young man to "make his rent", with assurances that he'd pay me back by the end of the month and give me a free cam show as well. Needless to say, I never got the money back and the free show was quickly forgotten about. Lesson learned.

It's worth discussing, certainly, but people in desperate situations often find self-destructive paths, porn or not. I do wonder how many fit in the category of doing porn because it seemed like the way to make the most money with the least effort. And of course the largely-inevitable decline with age and newer faces. How many years does a porn star have on average before they become over-exposed and/or age out of their audience? I guess it's kind of a weird cousin to child actors, and how few of them have adult careers. I'm reminded of this dialog from the movie "The Fluffer": Sean: Silver, what do you think happens with people in porn? Silver: What do you mean? Sean: Just seems to mess people up. Silver: Working at K-Mart messes people up. Working in Hollywood messes people up. Sean: That's true. Silver: It's an adult industry. Gotta be an adult to deal with it.

Oh hell - obviously I had no idea. He was completely strung out and/or straight up wanted to die. Sounds like his porn career was truly dead already, from his various crimes. At least he didn't take anyone else down with him.

And then there's Sebastian Young, who went from a Marky Mark who was willing to fuck guys into another jailbird scumbag. So disappointing.
-
I'd have put Kurt Wilde on my list, were he not charged with raping a 10 year old - gah. Why so many porn stars go off the rails is whole other topic, I guess.
-
And not in the 'fun' porny prison, either: https://str8upgayporn.com/gay-porn-star-tom-faulk-prison-texas/
-
You've reminded me of another one - Tom Faulk (in his earlier 'surfer dude' days)
-
The "what are you waiting for" expression on Kurt's face really helps sell it - not that it needs any help.
-
Thinking about Austin again reminds me of another guy I'd put on my list: Kurt Young.

Aka Bill Scatner. Ok, I made that up.
-
Yup - clearly my tastes are showing. ?
-
That must have been something. He really was spectacular.
-
Oh yes, he was. I always thought it would be quite something to see him really into the sex. He was beautiful but the porn performances seemed a bit wooden to me. Chad I thought was also very hot, prior to him going steroid happy.
-
Do they do even do "stings" with actual underage pics? Wouldn't that be illegal in it's own right?
-
(Presuming the porn-aged versions, being shallow as I am) John Davenport (at least before learning that he used a stunt cock fairly often) Roman Heart Brent Corrigan Chad Connors Austin Ashley JJ Swift Scott & Kip Noll Reese Rideout Quinn Jaxon

It makes me wonder if something about his early porn days left a bad taste in his mouth (figurative and/or literal). I recall him telling me once that GH had ripped him off somehow - didn't pay him for a scene, something like that. I agree though. I think the right approach (and flow of cash) could easily get Jake to open up for more things.
-
As long as he didn't call you a Boomer.
-
And he's really let himself go.
-
I think I'd be embarrassed, for both of us. I'd still pay him, such a thing to me not being like being cheated at the grocery store or something. If I did a review it would be based on the whole experience, as would my choice to see the provider again.
-
I'm just wondering how often a provider is approached by a client who ends up being someone they know otherwise - or even a relative.
-
Perhaps he's got a receding hairline, I don't know. It stirs an unflattering comparison:
-
I guess more as a part of petting, but I wonder about hair touching from a client. Too personal? Of course, the other side of that would be product, etc.
-
Cute, but what's up with the hair?
