I would question Univ of North Dakota making the “unfriendly” list. Is it just because it’s in ND? Because the school has supported a gay pride parade at least since the early 2000’s and a lgbt student group that has slowly grown each year even when I was there.

I don't remember where I heard this but, it was something along the lines of it is easier for average looking men with social skills to get laid then it is for very good looking men. I think it was more along the lines of what women are attracted to but I think it still applies here...it is easier to be 'chill' and laid back and be yourself with an average looking guy and find their sense of humor more charming. Funny this thread popped up again, I was just thinking about going back to see someone...my last guy retired so I may go to him if he has any recommendations. As far as I remember I don't think I ever saw an actual psychiatrist, only psychologists. Would it be helpful to see a psychiatrist even if I have never taken anything psychopharmacological?

I called my grandparents Grandma (I don't think I dared to call her anything else) and then Gramps. I did know my parents but they didn't raise me, so when I was younger and was actually around them I called them mom and dad but as I grew older I was more reluctant to do so.
