I just watched the original US Theatrical release last weekend and was indeed thinking of that when I wrote my post!

Is this to be an empathy test? Capillary dilation of the so-called blush response? Fluctuation of the pupil. Involuntary dilation of the iris...

I say this without any evidence at all, but: I think Gaydar is a collection of a bunch of really subtle clues that our animal brains pick up on but our educated/western-cultured brains don't. Tiny changes in blush response, pupil dilation, gestures and body language and maybe subtle scents our bodies produce in reaction to degrees of sexual attraction.

An undercover narcotics officer acquaintance of mine said, "it's even funnier to say,'oh yeah, we're cops'" in the most sarcastic tone of voice possible, so the target thinks he's joking. He said that it's fun to read that transcript in court then without the sarcastic tone so it sounds like the criminal stupidly heard him say he was a police officer and committed a crime in front of the officer anyway.

That all makes sense. Maybe, for a shorter visit, it'd just be the male escort only fellates the client but saves the juice for other, longer and more profitable, appointments.

As @keroscenefire mentioned some of us offer 30 minutes...I myself do if asked. I do not advertise it, and also depends on my schedule for the day, both personal and work. If in this situation the person wants to blow me, I decline or don't offer 30 minutes. Why waste a load and effect possiblity of overall performance, when someone could easily come through and pay a full hour instead. If I'm really really slow, and really horny, it's a possibility. However, while in 30 minute circumstances I offer a rate at a competitive proportion to the hour, I find most who ask for 30 minutes are either: looking for something way less still, too hesitant to part with their funds even at a less than advertised rate, or too really short on time sneaking around a partner/spouse, on break or before/after work or Uber discreet to actually come through.
So there is virtually no incentive to offer quick visits.
