This could go under the Men’s Health discussion too, but I specifically want the opinions from foodies, so I put this under What’s Cooking. Guys, please give me some ideas on how I can consume more unflavored psyllium husk powder. I don’t mind Metamucil. But, I’d like to get some variety in how I consume psyllium husk for fiber. I have irritable bowel syndrome and keeping a steady flow of fiber combined with avoiding trigger foods really helps. And, a very regular pretty significant intake of fiber is the only way I can bottom. Is it good in coffee or hot tea? Can I just sprinkle it over some other foods?

I drew this triangle graph to help try to explain my role to myself. In this graph, I use a two digit coordinate system and call myself a 2.5 E today. But, I was probably more of a 3.5F previously.

Wait a minute. It looks like the Kink Orientation Scale (KOS) actually does have some scientific research behind it. Dr. Liam Wignall of the University of Brighton developed it. You can see the published article here.

I found a kink scale test online. You can take the test here. The whole test is just a short string of statements where you pick from strongly disagree to strongly agree. It only takes a couple of minutes to take the test. I think a high score on the test means you are a person who likes kink at some scale but if you took the whole population of FetLife or Recon they’d all score 80+ and there’s quite a range of degrees of kink beyond the threshold of “are you a kinky person.” Importantly, the test and scale was not developed as a formal scientific project. It’s not part of a published study or peer reviewed. So, take the results with more than one grain of salt. Anyway, here’s what I scored:

Bodybuilders…. I see bodybuilders male and female who overshoot an attractive muscular but still natural-looking physique. Some take muscle growth to extreme non-natural looks.

I can’t remember a set of naturally large lips that I found unattractive. But, when people get cosmetic surgery, they often overshoot what I find attractive. I remember being on a trip with someone who’s botox treatments left them with a permanently stunned/surprised facial expression. Flat-chested women often skip right past B, C, and even the normal range of D cup boobs and have the surgeons give them cartoonish giant DD+ boobs. Men don’t get as many cosmetic surgeries, but I’m sure there are parallels.
