Tipping is supposed to be a thank you for services above and beyond the.standard.
Unfortunately like restaurants, masseurs in Spas are underpaid so your "tip" is much of their paycheck.
A private masseur will charge far more and doesn't need to give a cut to anyone else. So for very standard service no tip is required. Anything above and beyond:  the provider should be compensated with 20% to 25% depending on how far beyond the service went. Or round up to escort rates ($200 -$300) if sexual serviced were added to the session.
If I get a great massage and an exciting happy ending from someone who I am attracted to,  I will tip generously as a way of opening the conversation about the availability of additional escort services for the next meet.

Money is the great equalizer. Clients compensate as much as they feel they need to to keep the provider answering their phones when the client calls. So trying to convince people how to tip is futile. 

Also, a lot of these "masseurs" aren't even real masseurs. They are escorts in the guise of a masseur, so what am I tipping for? Their escorting capacity? 

It's because the workers at a spa get 1/3 of what you pay. They deserve at least the going rate for providing a good massage. If more is provided , then I tip accordingly. In the end I pay close to what I would pay a private masseur for a service well executed. It's not my concern what their business model is; my concern is whether I'm paying equitably for the service I get. Some private masseurs charge 300 for their masseur service; would that still demand a tip? The market rate for a good massage is 120-150 for 60 min. For me, anything else above that would be a 'tip' based on what else transpires. A 200 fee for a massage is a $150 rate and a built in $50 tip because of the expectations beyond the massage (including eye candy). Again, my 2 cents. Take it or leave it.

I personally don’t think that most providers ask for a pic are looking for their “beauty standards” whatever that is but for a personal security and maybe selection.
They have the rights to choose or say no to anyone. It’s their choice too.Thinking that just because someone it’s on RM  and they should do whatever it takes its pure madness.

Unfortunately, some people feel entitled; that because they are paying, the provider does not have the right to say no to the client because of how they look. I understand it sucks to be rejected this way, but wouldn't you wanna know before you actually meet and have an awful encounter, and save time and money?
