  1. 55' (so far). Apparently I've found another way to help me go blind
  2. #'s 2, 5, 7, 13 and 17 (and I'm playing these number on Powerball too!)
  3. I did. Did my research and its helps that the store just dropped the price by $300 yesterday. If you don't mind, may I message you when it arrives for pointers, etc. regarding the calibration and other miscellaneous setup "stuff"?
  4. I do, for at least Netflix, Amazon Prime, plus any premium "on demand" movie channels available. I am comparing Apps currently available on each, the future upgrades that may be available, and the Roku 4K. While I'd love to spring for a 60 inch OLED 4K, my wallet's leaning toward a regular 4K at this point. I think I miss the days when 19' vs 25' cabinet choices were the only concern.
  5. After a head spinning afternoon (OLED? I just learned about the existence of 4K for God's sake). It came down to the Vizio vs Samsung. A high end Vizio with a 240 refresh rate is about $800 to $1,200 less than the comparable Samsung. I need to read up a bit more, but Cnet raves about the Vizio M series, so I'm pretty much leaning that way.
  6. MrMiniver, your comment came right on time! I'm about to step out the door to check them out and will definitely look at the Vizio.
  7. I've actually been looking at these, a 4K Ultra. The prices have dropped like crazy since last year. I'm not very tech savvy, when it mentions web browsing, does it mean it will play videos from any web site? That would solve the AMC issue for me.
  8. How soon after a show has aired on network TV or AMC does it show up on Hulu? I know on Netflix and Amazon Prime, it's well after the full season has ended.
  9. I'd love to cut the cord. I watch a few shows faithfully on networks and channels like AMC, and I have all of the movie channels. I just saw an article that said that cable and dish prices are expected to increase $10-$15 this year. As more of the movie channels become available independently and through Amazon Prime, it gives me more of an incentive to dump cable.
  10. Unfortunately the few younger guys who happen to hit on me are generally not my type.
  11. I generally go for much younger guys (20's). When I contact an escort, I generally ask if they have any age or body restrictions. I have body image problems and would rather an email or text rejection than a soul crushing face to face rejection.
