Encores did it again. After an amazing production of Into The Woods (Now on Broadway), they bring us another production...Parade! It is unfortunate, this production was only 5 days. The subject matter is so relevant today even though it is based on a true story from the 1920's. An all star cast lead by the brilliant Ben Platt. I do hope they can figure out a way to bring this to Broadway as a new group of theater goes deserve too see this. Although, the premise is depressing it is riveting! Lastly, it received stellar reviews.

I saw it a few years ago when it was off-broadway. Wasn't impressed, so I don't know why they needed to bring it back on Broadway.

I just binged several episodes of AHS: NYC. OMG it is soooo good! Ryan Murphy always delivers! Can't wait for the rest of the episodes to drop.

Saw it yesterday. It did start off slowly and did pick up. Another Broke Back Mountain type movie but not as good. I remember all the hype about HS doing this movie with "gay scenes" and nudity. Everything was hidden so nothing to see here.

Saw this revival the other night. I wasn't planning on seeing it until I read the amazing reviews especially the review in the New York Times. They called in the best play in the last 20 years best since Angels in America. It won the Pulitzer over 20 years ago. The show was extremely well acted but I don't think it lived up to the hype. Sometimes that happens when you expect something to be that good.
