There are threads on this forum discussing the misleading belief that rentmen wants to convey in connection with "verifying" identification. The verification is merely looking at any identification copied and attached and sent to rentmen by the person placing the ad. The identification can be fake or genuine but rentmen notes in the ad that identification was verified. That half-ass way of verifying is worse than trying to clap with one hand.
