  1. Come on, you can’t just decide to pay someone less because you personally think they make too much money, especially if their personal freedom is at risk. Do you also give shitty tips at an expensive restaurant because you’ve calculated how much their waiter makes on a $300-per-person meal? What if that waiter could go to jail for doing their job?

  2. Surprised Constantine has been brought up here so much without anyone mentioning how handsome he is. He’s very hot. Body similar to Yura (tall, skinny). Massage technique was a little strange (a lot of thumb pressing without him leaning his body weight into it) but I think I’ll repeat.

I sent them a message saying I will no longer be a customer if they go through with this. It doesn’t make any sense. The existing co-ed area was big enough, I never saw it get busy. If I have to walk around everywhere in a bathing suit and robe that’s a crappier sauna experience than my gym.

  4. Not sure what the comments about Yura's hairiness are referring to, unless you're expecting a dolphin? Saw him the other day and he had an average amount of hair? Cute and nice guy overall.

The only weird thing was he rubbed his upper forearms (the part on the arm where guys have the most hair?) into my hands, so essentially he was rubbing my hands with his armhair. Kind of a weird sensation and might make one think he's "hairy", but it would feel like that with anyone with any amount of arm hair...

  5. I had a good experience with Ahmed (I think someone said he’s mixed Egyptian/Latino?), but not sure if he’s for everyone. Massage wasn’t very sensual but pressure was good (which is better for me than sensual grazing with not enough pressure... feels like they’re just trying to run out the clock). Curious how he is after repeat visits. Seems like a nice guy, a little shy. Also he didn’t bring up tipping during our massage at all, which is something earlier mentions of him said he did.

  6. So the "official" reason as to why no towel is because it's to "messy" I've complained saying it gets hot in steam room and i would like to sit on it. If alot of people complain and say other spas allow you to use towel maybe just maybe they will allow us again. I think the real reason is so they can check who is hard and who is playing in the steam room. there is a guy that walks by what seems like every 10 secs to check. Do they have signs up saying no towles? when I went on friday it was just a guy telling us but a few didn't listen. once your in with a towel they cant tell you no

I bet they’re just being cheap about the laundry service to keep a supply of towels going. I was annoyed previously that they did such a poor job of enforcing nudity in the men’s area before, with some guys going in wearing bathing suits. I don’t expect them to suddenly be interested in being more authentic. They’re just trying to save money on washing towels.

But that seems gross. At other Korean spas I always use the little towels to sit on so I don’t sit on someone’s butt sweat. I think people should complain to the manager and on Yelp.

  7. I did read the website content but at the risk of asking a dumb question, is this a place where guys hook up aka using it as a bathhouse? The company is not going to cum out and say that, obviously. Just wondering if that is the case. Thanks.

No, it’s a Korean sauna. People go there to relax. Straight men go there too and meet up with their families in the mixed-gender area afterwards. So you have to be careful, like at a gym, if you’re going to hook up with people. Staff come around occasionally, etc.

  8. It looks like a "deluxe" mixed (men and women) Sauna. 50$ entrance fee....

Usually at these places there’s a gender-segregated locker room with showers, hot tubs and steam/sauna rooms where you can also get a scrub while naked. Most people walk around naked, you’re not supposed to wear a towel wrapped around you. And then you put on a little outfit they give you to go to a mixed gender area with different kinds of dry saunas. That’s how Ktown Sauna was setup before, doesn’t seem like it has changed from their website.

Also the entrance fee is $40 in November. Has anyone been since they re-opened? Anything different?
