I think it's worse than that. There have been news bits that Five (5) ShopRite locations are closing in the New York upstate area. I guess it's back to Stop 'N Shop. Life goes on, so they say.

You are mistaken, that wasn't me in the paper the other day. I would not need Abby's inspiration to tell my daughter her friend's usual "putting it all out there" is a "no go" for this particular occasion. Not her house, not her rules.

I think she is just great, but my prudishness thinks a little more modest attire would have lifted the tone a bit.

That puts a bit of a different spin on it. You might tell each of them you are ceasing any further intimacy with either of them because you did not know of their family relationship. I don't think it fair for you to accept any blame or feel you have done anything wrong. It is just an unfortunate situation that is not the fault of anyone involved. I do believe they both are deserving of an explanation for your severing your relationships with them. Whatever you decide to do, I hope it goes well.

From the situation here (upper NY State) and what I've been reading, I would say get them while you can.

This week the ShopRite I use was/is totally out of eggs. Internet postings are referencing a bird flu epidemic as the cause of a nationwide egg shortage. I can only imagine how sky-high the cost of a dozen eggs will be when eggs again become available.

My sympathy/concern is for their teenaged accountability-partner son. I acknowledge that I'm not beyond over-reacting but placing that kind of burden upon a child has me questioning whether these people should have custody of children.
