  1. Published by SI Swim By Lauren Chan 2023 SI Swimsuit rookie, Lauren Chan, gets vulnerable about finding herself and starting anew. Atop the list of things I never thought I’d do, in escalating order: be in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, be gay and come out to the world in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit. But Taylor Swift is single again, so: I’m here! I’m a lesbian! And I’m telling you right now! Because I identified as straight until recently, most people I’ve privately come out to have been surprised at this change in my sexuality. First and foremost: me. Believe it or not, I was shocked that I—a 30-something, married… Read More View the full article

  3. Published by Radar Online mega Former Olympian Caitlyn Jenner attacked the transgender community by claiming trans individuals were “oversaturated” and “destroying the family unit,” despite being a member herself, RadarOnline.comhas learned. Caitlyn made the bizarre remarks when announcing her new PAC, Fairness First, which zones in on “parent rights” and keeping “boys out of women’s sports.” Caitlyn ruffled feathers with her latest comments about fellow trans-woman Dylan Mulvaney‘s brand deals with Nike and Bud Light. mega Caitlyn spoke about the Fairness First PAC initiative to Breitbart. The Olympian, who made an unsuccessful run for California governor in 2021, claimed that “state laws” were needed to “ultimately govern our schools at a state level.” “They need to provide state-level guidance to their local school boards, from a legislative perspective, to govern who can compete in what leagues,” Caitlyn told the outlet as she noted that a key issue was boys participating in girls’ sports. mega Caitlyn Jenner SLAMS Nike, Accuses Brand Of Going ‘Woke’ With Transgender TikToker Dylan Mulvaney Partnership Bud Light Boycott: Megyn Kelly Says Embattled Brewery Should Have Teamed Up With Caitlyn Jenner Instead Of Dylan Mulvaney Caitlyn Jenner Sucking Up To Sean Hannity & Tucker Carlson To Fulfill Her Political Ambitions: Sources “Our advocacy is to align athletes with sports that are at a chromosomal or DNA level — not birth certificate,” Caitlyn continued. “Which has been extremely visible in sports, is an effort to break down the family unit.” The outspoken conservative said that “the family unit” was “under assault and looking to be replaced by teachers.” In a more direct attack, Caitlyn went after the “radical rainbow mafia.” Never miss a story — sign up for the RadarOnline.com newsletter to get your daily dose of dope. Daily. Breaking. Celebrity news. All free. mega Caitlyn boasted about being Fairness First’s spokesperson — and how her exposure as a Fox News contributor helped elect “officials from school boards, the state level and the federal level, to work on policy issues and advocate for our recommendations.” The former reality star doubled down on the PAC’s widespread commitment to the “family unit” and its boots-on-the-ground effort to keep teachers out of “parental rights.” “We have events and grassroots partnerships in the works to show up to school board meetings, state capitols to testify, LGBT people to testify in congress, to stop the radical rainbow mafia,” Caitlyn stated. mega When asked if transgender rights would be a tipping point issue for conservatives, Caitlyn stayed true to her PAC’s “parental rights” core. “I think this actually comes down to parental rights. Big government left-wing liberals are all about destroying the family unit, at any cost,” Caitlyn replied. “That means government gets to take the place of the parents and the families.” While Caitlyn acknowledged that “trans is not made up or fake,” she claimed that “trans” was “oversaturated due to indoctrination and is the latest way the left is destroying the family unit.” The ex-E! star warned that “we won’t see the true impact” of minors transitioning “for years to come.” View the full article
  4. Published by AFP Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, a Republican, won reelection in 2022 and has made battling a supposed progressive 'woke' ideology a central concern of his second term Miami (AFP) – Florida on Wednesday extended its controversial ban on lessons related to gender identity and sexual orientation to all school grades, a move pushed by the southern US state’s Republican governor and likely presidential candidate Ron DeSantis. Dubbed by critics as the “Don’t Say Gay” law, the policy was initially limited to kindergarten through third grade, but the state’s Board of Education on Wednesday approved an expansion to grades four through 12. The expansion had already been approved by the Department of Education, which like the board is led by DeSantis appointees, and does not need legislative approval to take effect. The new rule stipulates that teachers “shall not intentionally provide classroom instruction to students in grades 4 through 12 on sexual orientation or gender identity unless such instruction is … expressly required by state academic standards.” It also allows for an exemption if the lesson is “part of a reproductive health course or health lesson for which a student’s parent has the option to have his or her student not attend.” Teachers who violate the policy could have their licenses suspended or revoked, according to the text. Equality Florida, an LGBTQ rights group, expressed outrage at the move. “Shame on the DeSantis Administration for putting a target on the backs of LGBTQ Floridians,” the group said in a statement. It accused Republican officials of having a “lust for government censorship.” DeSantis, who won reelection in 2022 in a landslide victory, has made battling politicians, teachers and businesses he accuses of wanting to impose a progressive “woke” ideology on others a central concern of his second term. He has increasingly courted conservative voters with controversial proposals on education and immigration in recent months, as jockeying for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination heats up. A rising star of the American right, DeSantis is widely expected to go toe-to-toe with former president Donald Trump, who has already declared his candidacy. View the full article
  5. Published by Reuters By Dawn Chmielewski and Lisa Richwine (Reuters) – Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’ new oversight board has discovered another “11th hour agreement” that allows Walt Disney Co to set its own utility rates at its Orlando theme parks, the board’s chairman said on Wednesday. A Disney subsidiary, which provides utility services to the central Florida district that includes the Walt Disney World Resort, negotiated an agreement in February to extend its contract through 2032, Chairman Martin Garcia said at a public meeting. Disney did not immediately respond to requests for comment. “Last Friday afternoon I learned for the first time about one of these new 11th hour agreements entered into between Disney and the district. This one relates to our utility services,” Garcia said. “We’ll have to evaluate the legality of that agreement, that essentially enables Disney to set their utility rates. “I’ve never heard of such a thing,” Garcia said. The board was established to provide state oversight of a special district around Walt Disney World. DeSantis, a likely Republican presidential candidate who has frequently attacked “woke Disney,” said the company has long operated with an “unfair advantage” in the state through the district. He has previously complained about an agreement Disney made with outgoing board members to preserve the company’s option to add a fifth major theme park and more retail space and hotel rooms at the resort. Legislation filed this week would seek to invalidate the agreement. State Republicans last year began targeting Disney after it publicly clashed with DeSantis over a law that restricts classroom instruction of gender and sexual orientation. Republicans named the bill the Parental Rights in Education Act, while opponents criticized it as the “Don’t say gay” law. Disney Chief Executive Bob Iger has called moves to limit Disney’s oversight of its theme parks “anti-business” and “anti-Florida.” (Reporting by Lisa Richwine and Dawn Chmielewski in Los Angeles; Editing by Cynthia Osterman) View the full article
  6. Published by Raw Story Last year, U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert (R) shared tweets that warned against hosting drag queen “storytime” events in her Colorado district. Apparently, they decided to do it anyway, and it was an enormous success. Tiaras, arts, crafts, and flags were part of the all-inclusive storytime event Saturday, according to the Post Independent’s reporting. The event took place in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, which is squarely within Boebert’s district. Boebert recently came under fire for allegedly wasting taxpayer funds on “showboating.” Boebert’s warnings didn’t stop Kaleb Cook, the founder of Cook Incl… Read More View the full article
  7. I can't directly import "reviews" from the forums as there is no way to map all of the fields we would collect. BUT... the goal would be to take each provider record and each one would have a master forum thread. Check out the following topic for more details: This would mean we would end up with a single thread for discussion about someone and if another one gets posted, we may end up merging it into the master thread.
  8. One step ahead of you on that specific issue! If someone already exists, but under a different name... you would simply report that record and give us the new name. A moderator will update it and even be able show the history of the change. We're not going to allow members to update the fields directly because we have had situations where certain providers might try to manipulate the record to provide bad data or remove info about them. I talked about this a little more in the "Master Threads" topic I posted yesterday. Check out the following post for more detail: I don't want people trying to think about former names when they create the record. Once the record is there, if it changes, that record can be updated and the history tracked. BUT... I think this system will get to the heart of what you're asking for!
  9. There are two maps... HTML5/JavaScript Interactive USA Map | Simplemaps.com SIMPLEMAPS.COM An HTML5, JavaScript-powered, interactive United States map. This mobile-compatible, responsive map... HTML5/JavaScript Interactive World Map | Simplemaps.com SIMPLEMAPS.COM An HTML5, JavaScript-powered, interactive world map. This mobile-compatible, responsive map includes... In addition, if you don't like using maps, you'll be able to find locations a search field (similar to how Rent.Men works). You would simply start typing in a city to find results.
  10. Spas = Venues that offer massage services that have a set of employees. These places are the ones that would be covered under the "don't jeopardize a license" thing. Think about the physical places that are talked about in the "Spa & Masseurs" forum. Bars = Regular gay bars (Stonewall in NYC, Freddie's Beach Bar in DC, The Manor or Hunter's in FLL, etc) Strip Clubs = Venues that have male strippers on a regular basis. (Adonis, Buffboys, Johnsons, etc). Under this category will be a question that asks if the dancers are nude, etc. We could look at other categories such as bath houses, etc. We can create as many categories as we want technically... the bigger challenge is just identifying all of the info to be collected, what questions should be in the review itself, etc. We can look at tackling more beyond what is planned post-launch. I don't want to bite off more than we can chew.
  11. See this post... We can add multiple fields to a person's profile page on the site to capture any sort of self description. For example... this is mine: https://www.companyofmen.org/profile/3085-radiorob/?tab=field_core_pfield_1 The "About Me" field is literally just a text box that I made pretty. You could just enter a few words there if you like. To set your own "About Me", go to your profile (see below) and choose edit. and click the button to edit profile. I can add additional fields as well. Later on, I'll be able to do things such as add a tab that shows all of your submitted reviews, etc.
  12. DAY 1... Alphabetical order. But with that said, we're tracking location. To make it easier to match up locations, they'll use Google's auto-suggest for cities. So we won't have to worry about issues like "Ft Lauderdale, FL" vs "Fort Lauderdale, FL" vs "Ft. Lauderdale, FL" (with the period in Fort). Very shortly after the initial release, there will be a map view to see items based on location. Below is a screenshot "stock map" that has not been integrated yet. The idea is that you could pick a state and see all of the items that are associated with that location. In addition, where the squares are would be pins link to reviews for cities that have more than XX reviews. We would not be able to have THOUSANDS of pins, but the idea is that our top 10-20 cities might get pins. I'm also working to create a location filter where someone would just be able to search for a city and get those results as well. That would look/feel somewhat like Rent.men's location system. My goal is to leverage that same Google location suggestion to power it where you start typing a city or a state... when you submit it, you get results for just that area.
  13. That sounds like something that is perfect to include in the free-form ("Your Review" below) space!
  14. How do we differentiate it? There needs to be something that is clear as people interpret things very differently. Imagine getting somewhere and saying “I wanted VERY hairy! He’s just basic hairy!”
  15. Reviews are associated with the forum handle. The thought is if someone wants to provide a description, you would use the existing profile system. That would link the two concepts. In a later release, I actually plan to include a tab in your profile for all submitted reviews as well. This would let you share a link to everything you’ve reviewed. I am also thinking about creating a signature generator that would dynamically update with some stats such as your latest person reviewed, total number of reviews, etc. That’s still in the “hey that could be cool” stage though. I have not had a chance to think through and draft a full set of requirements.
  16. Moderators can cleanup/hide/split posts if a master topic is too far off track.
  17. Included. Hair Hair Color Hair Length Facial Hair Body Hair Daddy did not have a concept of body hair, so there was not any specific examples to include. I was thinking: Smooth, Shaved, Trimmed, Hairy, and Other If there are other ideas, those can be looked at.
  18. In that case, it can’t be in the item record. It would need to be in the review. The item record cannot apply on a per user experience. That’s part of the reason for trying to keep the item record close to the ad. If the encounter did not match what was listed, the review should reflect there was a discrepancy.
  19. And there’s nothing wrong with that. Going forward, if it happens a mod might simply merge the topics. (I don’t know how well merging will ultimately work and if it would generate a ton of “busy work” for the mod team yet. It’s something we may try and measure it’s effectiveness and level of effort.)
  20. In the item record itself, how do you determine this? In Daddy’s system, he typically asked what was listed on the ad. Which means we could only really provide options from RM/Friendboy, etc. I’m not saying that can’t be changed, but just trying to think/reason through the impact. Is this a better question inside of the review form to ask if safe play was used?
  21. The way Daddy asked it was how did they advertise their orientation. My plan was to do something similar in the tool tip. If a majority find this not useful, it can be removed. So that people are not free-form typing languages, I need to provide a list to choose from. If this were to be included, what languages should be listed? I would most likely need to do a multi-select drop down since someone could have multiple languages. Do we really care about the language spoken itself versus how well do they communicate in English? Maybe we make that a question in the review form as something you rate 1-5.
  22. As a question... if/when I can do premium fields, what does the group want to see for options regarding safe sex status? I was thinking about something like: Safe Only, Anything Goes, Unknown (On Rent.men they have "Ask Me". Considering the escort does not own the record, it's not really appropriate to say "Ask Me". I was going to leave it simply as Unknown.)
  23. Hopefully with all activity in one thread, it will be less likely to fall into that two year with zero activity. However Admins can bypass the 2 year reply rule... just likely an admin can reply in a locked topic, we can reply in a 2 year reply lock topic as well. If we bump it, that two year counter is reset and anyone at that point can reply. If it ends up being something we run into frequently following the launch of Master Threads, I can look at making that entire forum exempt from the check.
  24. I am thinking about leaving Top/Bottom/Vers alone, however we have existing questions just below it that show a little more detail on activities... the select boxes associated with them would have options such as get/give. Kissing Give Only Give/Receive Receive Only Frot Give Only Give/Receive Receive Only Oral Give Only Give/Receive Receive Only Anal Give Only Give/Receive Receive Only More detailed things like toys, bondage, rimming, etc are most likely more appropriate in some sort of "Activities" field that would be in the review form instead of at the item level. I'm thinking this field would be check box group that lists things like rimming, toys, etc that people could optionally check off. As it stands right now, I'm still working on the logic to have "premium fields" that only show to specific member groups. This means all of the sexual stuff MAY not end up in the initial "1.0" release. If it does not make it there, it will absolutely be in a "1.5/2.0" version. It's high on the list of things I want to see happen so it will happen before some other things I want to do.
  25. My initial plan is to require all new items to require approval. This would allow review editors to add/cleanup photos if necessary, check for duplicates, etc.
