I live on Long Island about a 40 minute ride on the LIRR, However as I'm trying to recover from treatment for an illness I cannot take public transportation and want to use Uber or Lyft to attend the Adonis birthday event. I'm thinking coming in using Uber of Lyft but my biggest fear is there not being a driver available to take me home. I am also thinking of getting a hotel and staying over but again I worry about getting a return car Sunday morning. Any ways my question is have any of you ever experienced difficulty in getting an Uber on a very late Saturday evening or Sunday very early AM hours to go to a suburb?

I go to Buffdaddy's often and will be there Sat eve. It's in an industrial park and quite safe. There is parking behind the building but you can park in the street also and not have to worry about your car. I use the Southern State Pkwy and there is not much traffic. It's a 15-20 minute drive for me. As for restaurants I'm not familiar with any in the immediate area so maybe Buffdaddy or someone more familiar can help you.

Not sure. I was always told to stay away from Charmin and Cottonelle also. We use Scotts and Kirklands. The baddest thing for pipes are the so called flushable wipes. It cost me close to 700 dollars when drains backed up into basement and plumber had to snake all the way down under driveway to a mass of wipes blocking where my house's sewer line empties into the main street line.

I also suffer from nerve pain due to spinal stenosis, bulging discs, sciatica etc and docs refuse to operate or give me epidurals because I have 2 blood disorders, ITP and Von Willebrands, so I'm making do with monthly visits to pain management where I have to give a urine sample and doc talks to me for 5 mins and sends in a refill order for Gabapentin(3600 mgs a day) and oxycodone 10/325 2x a day. It helps but sometimes walking is very painful. I'm also dealing with adrenal insufficiency after 2 years of high doses of prednisone which worsened my nerve pain after tapering off.
