Great review. I've been to Mirasol Villas. I like to get up in the morning and go do things. The interesting thing was that the few guys that were there would be out there tanning in the morning and when we got back at the end of the day they were still out there tanning dark as you can be course. I believe Numbers got converted into a sports bar called the gym. Weho is mostly for twinks and twunks. The only thing I can think of is the Gold Coast. Silverlake would probably be better if you're looking for a more mature crowd. The eagle, fault line, etc.

Except in New Orleans and other US cities you can call the police and expect a certain level of protection. I'm sure in the resort areas you could do the same. However Outside of that I wouldn't expect much. The only time I ever got robbed in Mexico was by the police. They pulled us over in my rental car and literally went through our pockets. Warned us if we said anything we'd go to jail.

I went to Cancun last year. Beautiful Resort. This is how the cops all travel in and around the resort. Hell no would I travel around at anywhere in Mexico by myself.

Yes. I live in Los Angeles and someone considering moving over a warning label would be completely ridiculous. I'd say if these are your biggest complaints you've got a pretty good life.
