I would never EVER purchase a home that someone had been murdered in, or even died in (assuming it was disclosed, and yes, I always ask!) HUGE creep factor for me. I was once looking at a large historic home that about half way thru the showing, the realtor disclosed used to be a funeral home prior to being returned to a private residence. Let's just say the tour ended there. LOL
 
On a related note, I'm morbidly curious about Jeffrey Epstein's NYC mansion. Said to be one of the largest private residences in NYC and valued around $50,000,000. Notoriety aside, I would never purchase such a home - bad karma.

I had the same thought about Hostess Ding Dongs. They were my go to sweet snack as a child. I hadn't had one in 30 plus years, so I bought a box a year or so ago. I was convinced they shrunk (not that I've gotten bigger) lol

I'll give the home remedy a try - certainly won't hurt anything. I've suffered from acid reflux for years...

I take 2 tsps of apple cider vinegar in about 4 ozs of water every morning. Has helped my gastric issues quite a bit.

I’m wondering if anyone else knew about this homemade remedy to heartburn/GERD. This is not a substitute for medical advice and ultimately you should talk to your doctor before trying any treatment.
 
I have been suffering from heartburn lately, and always had acid reflux anytime I ate anything with tomatoes. I would always take some tums to get rid of the acid reflex, but yesterday I had terrible heartburn, to the point it felt like I was having a stroke or something. I tried taking tums but they didn’t work. I debated about taking my prescription for protonix. But ultimately I followed the advice from a close family member who’s a scientist and is big on nutrition and homeopathic medicine. She told me that protonix and tums are the worst things that you can take for heartburn/GERD because they block acid from the stomach. And that the stomach was meant to be acidic. It needs acid to digest food properly. So by taking antacids you’re being counterproductive. Her solution? A large cup of water with a tablespoon of lemon juice, a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar, and a table spoon of honey for taste. After sipping on this my heartburn was gone within minutes. I’m not saying this will work for everyone, like I said earlier this is not intended to be medical advice, and consult your doctor first.
